Plot Summary

As the scorching summer of 1954 unfolded in Florida, a group of high school students harbored a singular ambition: to break their virginity seals. In search of carnal satisfaction, they converged on Porky’s, an infamous strip club nestled deep within the Everglades. The proprietor, Porky, proved a cunning entrepreneur, extracting exorbitant sums from the boys while simultaneously humiliating them with a sweltering swamp bath. When the group demanded restitution for their financial and emotional losses, Porky’s brother, the sheriff, intervened, extorting further monies under the guise of jurisdictional authority.

Mickey, one of the beleaguered teens, would later return to Porky’s driven by a burning desire for retribution. His subsequent hospitalization following a brutal beating at the hands of Porky’s goons only galvanized his comrades into a collective crusade for vengeance against the strip club’s proprietor and his law enforcement kin.

With Porky’s establishment teetering on the brink of destruction, the gang orchestrated a series of daring pranks, culminating in its ultimate submersion into the swamp. Porky and his cohorts, joined by the sheriff, pursued the vengeful teens across county lines, only to be met with an unexpected alliance between local police officers and the high school band.

As tensions escalated, one officer in particular, Mickey’s older brother Ted, emerged as a pivotal figure. With an arsenal of sledgehammers and wrenches, he systematically disassembled Porky’s prized Hudson Hornet, dangling the threat of leniency for the strip club’s proprietor if he were to forgive the night’s events and abandon his pursuit of the teens. Given the boys’ tender ages and Porky’s own culpability in their predicament, a reluctant truce was forged, allowing the embattled group to finally breathe a sigh of relief as they crossed into new jurisdictional territory.

As the narrative unfolds, a subplot takes center stage, where Tommy, Billy, and Pee Wee indulge in a juvenile prank, sneaking peeks at their female classmates in the shower room. Their antics reach new heights when Pee Wee’s enthusiasm gets the better of him, inadvertently alerting the girls to their presence. The initial shock gives way to laughter as the girls find the situation amusing, while Tommy takes things too far, sticking his tongue out and then his private parts through a peephole, much to the chagrin of Beulah Balbricker, a fiery female coach with a long-standing feud with Tommy.

Balbricker’s determination to prove that the offending member belongs to Tommy knows no bounds, as she requests Principal Carter hold an unconventional lineup featuring the boys in the nude. However, Carter’s hesitation and the subsequent suggestion by Coach Brackett to involve a sketch artist and create wanted posters only further fuel Balbricker’s frustration, leading her to storm off in a huff.

Meanwhile, another subplot unfolds as Coach Brackett becomes smitten with the attractive Lynn Honeywell. The dynamic between the two coaches is palpable, particularly when Warren repeatedly refers to Honeywell as “Lassie” while gesturing towards the equipment room. Brackett’s confusion soon gives way to understanding as he and Honeywell find themselves hiding in the same room after a heated argument with Balbricker.

As they grow closer, the scent of the equipment room becomes intoxicating for Honeywell, leading the pair to indulge in a hasty tryst. Honeywell’s climactic howls, reminiscent of her nickname “Lassie,” echo throughout the school, much to the amusement of the students and Coach Warren, but not to Balbricker or head coach Goodenough. The aftermath sees Brackett and Honeywell facing the consequences of their actions, ultimately resulting in their termination.
