Jen, portrayed by Matilda Lutz, is a wealthy American socialite engaged in a clandestine romance with French millionaire Richard, played by Kevin Janssens. Their weekend getaway takes them to Richard’s remote home nestled within the Moroccan desert before he embarks on an annual hunting expedition with friends Stan, played by Vincent Colombe, and Dimitri, portrayed by Guillaume Bouchede. As a peculiar gesture, Roberto, the helicopter pilot, surprises Richard with a gift of peyote.

Unexpectedly, their friends arrive a day earlier than planned, forcing Richard to confront the reality of keeping Jen hidden. The group enjoys a night filled with revelry, but things take a dark turn the following day. While Richard is away, Stan makes an unwanted advance towards Jen, falsely claiming she had flirted with him the previous night. When she rebuffs him, he brutally assaults her, with Dimitri turning a blind eye to the horrific act. Richard returns, furious with Stan and shockingly offers Jen a significant sum to erase the incident from her memory. When he opts not to send her home, Jen flees into the unforgiving desert, pursued by the three men, culminating in a harrowing confrontation at the edge of a cliff. In a moment of betrayal, Richard feigns a call to his pilot and cruelly pushes her over the precipice, leaving her impaled on a tree and presumed dead.

Awakening from unconsciousness, Jen exhibits remarkable resilience; she uses her lighter to ignite the tree, which allows her to free herself despite the branch embedded in her body. Desperately navigating the desert, she seeks to evade the group of hunters who are now aware of her survival and have split up to search for her. That evening, she stumbles upon Dimitri, who is caught off guard while urinating in a river. Jen attempts to use his shotgun against him, only to discover it is unloaded. In the ensuing struggle, she fights back, seizing a hunting knife and delivering a fatal blow to Dimitri’s eyes as he succumbs to his injuries in the water.

Taking refuge in a cave, Jen utilizes the peyote to dull her pain while removing the branch and cauterizing her wound with a beer can, branding herself with its distinctive phoenix logo. Tormented by nightmares of the men stalking her, she resolves to become the hunter. The following day, Stan is ordered by Richard to track her down. In a twist of fate, his vehicle runs out of fuel within Jen’s line of sight. During their tense standoff, Jen successfully shoots him, igniting a protracted gunfight where Stan’s own recklessness leads him to injure himself on broken glass, setting the stage for their dramatic confrontation. In a moment of reckoning, Jen dispatches Stan decisively and commandeers the SUV.

Meanwhile, back at the house, Richard returns and, upon hearing noises, searches for Jen as she lies in wait. Their intense standoff escalates with both firing in a desperate bid for survival. After a fierce struggle, Jen turns the tables on Richard; her determination surges as she plunges her hand into his wound, forcing him to release his grip. In a final act of vengeance, she retrieves her shotgun and claims victory by shooting him dead. Bloodied but unbroken, Jen steps out, her spirit indomitable, as she prepares for the arrival of the helicopter, symbolizing her hard-won freedom.
