In the small town of Dhartipur, a sense of unease settles over its residents as two rival opium drug barons, Shivraj Gurjar (Sonu Sood) and Manik Parmar (Ashish Vidyarthi), engage in a bitter struggle for control. The stakes are high, with Ajit Taaka (Srihari), a powerful Mafia don operating from Hong Kong, pulling the strings from behind the scenes. Shivraj's decision to raise the price of raw opium by 300% has set off a chain reaction of tension and violence, as Taaka seeks to assert his dominance over the market.

Against this backdrop of lawlessness and corruption, Romeo Rajkumar (Shahid Kapoor), a young man with a penchant for getting into trouble, arrives in town. Initially, he finds employment with Shivraj, earning his trust by saving an opium truck from Parmar's henchmen and returning it to its rightful owner.

As Rajkumar navigates the treacherous landscape of Dhartipur, he must also contend with Qamar Ali (Mukul Dev), a loyalist of Shivraj who views him with suspicion. However, Rajkumar's bravery and quick thinking soon earn him a place in Shivraj's inner circle, as he saves the drug lord's life and opium from numerous attacks orchestrated by Parmar.

But it is not until Rajkumar lays eyes on Chanda (Sonakshi Sinha), a beautiful and educated woman who seems to embody all that is good and pure, that his life takes a dramatic turn. Despite being distracted by his growing feelings for her, Rajkumar finds himself forced to work alongside Qamar to take out two of Parmar's henchmen.

As the stakes continue to escalate, Rajkumar must confront his own sense of purpose and morality in a world where loyalty is often bought and sold. A corrupt policeman plays both sides against each other, setting the stage for a showdown between Parmar and Shivraj. In the heat of battle, Rajkumar emerges victorious, but not before he risks everything to save an old man who has lost his way.

Despite his many heroic deeds, Chanda remains oblivious to Rajkumar's affections, leading him to confront her directly about his feelings. What Rajkumar doesn't know is that Chanda is actually the orphaned ward of Manik Parmar, a revelation that will change everything. It takes time and persistence, but eventually Chanda comes around to Rajkumar's charms, realizing too late that he has been saving her life on multiple occasions.

As the tender shoots of love began to flourish, a cunning compromise was struck by Parmar, who decided to marry off Chanda to Shivraj against her fervent wishes. The union was slated for Dusshehra day, just a month away. But little did anyone know that Rajkumar had secretly confessed his undying passion for Chanda, sparking a fiery confrontation with Shivraj's henchmen. With unbridled ferocity, Rajkumar laid waste to their ranks, challenging the very man who sought to claim Chanda as his own.

Shivraj, desperate to maintain his prestige in the village and before Chanda herself, concocted a plan to eliminate Rajkumar before the wedding could take place. But unbeknownst to him, Chanda and her suitor-in-crime had hatched a scheme to outwit Shivraj at every turn.

In a series of misadventures, Shivraj found himself being taken for a ride by the cunning couple. First, they duped him into adopting an affected English poet persona, leaving him looking like a caricature in the eyes of the people he sought to impress. Next, they expertly hoodwinked him at the Saree emporium, leaving Shivraj seething with rage.

Parmar, fed up with Chanda's insolence, beat her mercilessly with a belt for her perceived transgressions. But Rajkumar would not be silenced, kidnapping Parmar and exacting a brutal revenge.

As tensions reached a boiling point, Shivraj concocted a plan to eliminate Rajkumar in an encounter orchestrated by his trusted police officer. But fate had other plans in store. The truth was revealed: Rajkumar was, in fact, a high-ranking gangster working for the notorious Don Ajit Takka.

With this shocking revelation, Rajkumar seized control of Shivraj's drug-laden truck and delivered it to Takka, only to discover that the vehicle was empty. In a stunning twist, it emerged that Shivraj and Takka had colluded to deceive Rajkumar, using him as a pawn in their game.

Shivraj and Takka brutally dispatched Rajkumar, burying him with the hope of silencing his threats forever. But fate would not be denied. Qamar, one of Shivraj's henchmen, secretly intervened to rescue Rajkumar from his premature grave, setting in motion a chain of events that would ultimately lead to a final showdown between the two adversaries.

As the wedding celebrations commenced, a surprise visitor crashed the party: Rajkumar himself, resurrected and fueled by a burning desire for revenge. With Shivraj's men now sympathetic to his cause, the stage was set for a one-on-one battle royale. In the end, it was Rajkumar who emerged victorious, delivering a crushing blow to Shivraj's neck before turning his attention to Takka, finishing him off with a ceramic tile.

As the narrative reaches its crescendo, the once-proud figures of Parmar's entourage are reduced to mere pawns, their vaunted bravado shattered by the relentless onslaught of retribution. With a collective display of brutal ferocity, they converge upon Parmar, their blows raining down like a tempestuous storm, leaving him battered and bruised. Amidst this tableau of violence and despair, two figures emerge, their bond stronger than ever despite the ravages of war: Rajkumar (actor's name), his physical form severely compromised by the merciless forces that have beset them, yet his spirit remains unbroken; Chanda, her beauty scarred but her heart still aglow with a love that has endured even the most trying of ordeals. Hand in hand, they stumble away from the devastation, their steps slow and tentative, yet their eyes shining with a sense of hope and redemption that seems to mock the very chaos that surrounds them.
