Plot Summary

In this scandalous tale of carnal desire, Mei Yeung-Sheng (Lawrence Ng), a scholarly but pleasure-prone individual, openly defies the moral codes preached by the venerable Sack Monk. The scholar’s aversion to abstinence stems from his unapologetic enjoyment of the company of women, much to the dismay of the monk who seeks to transcend worldly passions in pursuit of enlightenment. However, fate intervenes when Master Iron Doors, the most influential figure in town, arranges for his daughter Huk-Yeung (Amy Yip), a naive and virtuous young woman, to marry Mei Yeung-Sheng.

The scholar’s libidinous nature is further amplified by the counsel of Choi Kun-Lun, a cunning flying thief (Lo Lieh), who claims that the art of stealing other men’s wives requires not only skill but also the right equipment. He proposes to assist Mei Yeung-Sheng in his endeavors, but only if the scholar can procure a horse’s penis. The scholar, undeterred by the impossibility of this request, sets out to acquire such an appendage. His persistence ultimately pays off when he meets a resourceful doctor (Kent Cheng), who is willing to perform a remarkable surgical procedure, transplanting a 20-inch equine organ onto Mei Yeung-Sheng’s own.

Empowered by his new anatomy, Mei Yeung-Sheng embarks on a sexual conquest of sorts, disregarding the consequences of seducing other men’s wives and narrowly avoiding detection. Meanwhile, Huk-Yeung, having experienced the thrill of intimacy with her husband, becomes increasingly frustrated and seeks solace in self-pleasure using paintbrushes, ultimately leading to an affair with Wong Chut (Elvis Tsui), the husband of one of the women Mei Yeung-Sheng has wronged. As their illicit relationship blossoms, Huk-Yeung becomes pregnant but is eventually sold to a brothel by her lover in a fit of revenge.

Mistress Ku, the ruthless madam (Carrie Ng), brutally assaults Huk-Yeung, resulting in a miscarriage and ultimately coercing her into a life of prostitution. Initially resistant to this new reality, Huk-Yeung eventually discovers an unexpected sense of liberation within the brothel’s walls.

In a dramatic turn of events, Mei Yeung-Sheng’s excessive sexual indulgences take their toll on his physical health, leaving him frail and sickly. He seeks medical attention at the very same brothel where Huk-Yeung now resides, only to be offered the services of the establishment’s top courtesan. Initially oblivious to each other’s true identities, Mei Yeung-Sheng and Huk-Yeung engage in a series of awkward encounters as they struggle to reconcile their past with their present circumstances.

As their bodies entwined in passion, Yeung-Sheng’s gaze shifted from the ecstasy of the moment to a piercing scrutiny of her form. His eyes lingered on the contours of her figure, homing in on a specific detail that would alter the course of their encounter forever: the unmistakable outline of a nipple. The revelation hit him like a thunderbolt, and he reacted with unbridled fury, his cries of outrage and disdain shattering the intimate atmosphere. The woman’s face contorted in shock and humiliation as she fled the scene, leaving Yeung-Sheng stunned and remorseful.

In the aftermath of their brutal confrontation, the woman’s desperation reached a tragic crescendo. Alone and adrift, she succumbed to the crushing weight of her own despair, ultimately choosing a path that would forever alter the trajectory of her life. As news of her tragic demise spread, Yeung-Sheng was left to grapple with the devastating consequences of his own actions. His once-pure soul now tarnished by the dark stain of guilt, he sought out the wisdom of the monk, seeking absolution for his transgressions and a chance to atone for the irreparable harm he had caused.
