Inspector Rakesh Kadam, an honorable officer, finds himself wrongfully accused of corruption by the notorious crime lord, Jaikant Shikre, a figure of immense power who dabbles in illegal activities while maintaining a facade of legitimacy in Goa’s political and business landscape. Overwhelmed by the shame and dishonor brought upon him, Kadam tragically takes his own life, leaving his grieving widow, Megha, behind. Determined and fueled by a desire for justice, she vows to take revenge and restore her husband’s honor.

The narrative shifts to the village of Shivgad, nestled near the Goa-Maharashtra border, where we meet the fiercely principled police officer, Bajirao Singham. Commanding respect with his non-traditional yet impactful approach to policing, Singham quickly becomes beloved by the villagers. His integrity shines through, particularly when he crosses paths with Gautam Bhosle, an industrialist who comes to Shivgad with his family, including his charming daughter, Kavya. Through a hilarious string of events, Kavya finds herself enchanted by Singham, captivated by his commitment to righteousness and his genuine nature.

However, problems bubble beneath the surface when Jaikant, now out on conditional bail for his past transgressions, is required to check in at Shivgad but chooses to send a proxy, infuriating Singham. The incident escalates, resulting in a public humiliation for Jaikant, who subsequently leverages his influence to have Singham transferred to Goa. Once in Goa, Singham faces relentless harassment from Jaikant, whose criminal operations are supported by corrupt officials, including DSP Satyam Patkar. Nevertheless, Singham remains steadfast, buoyed by Kavya’s unwavering support and the loyalty of his junior officers, who despite feeling powerless, share his disdain for Jaikant’s reign of terror.

The struggle intensifies when Singham embarks on a mission to dismantle Jaikant’s criminal network. His efforts lead to the arrest of Jaikant’s henchman, Shiva, based on fabricated charges, ultimately uncovering Jaikant’s hand in Kadam’s unjust downfall. In retaliation, Jaikant kidnaps Kavya’s sister, Anjali, but Singham acts heroically to rescue her. Just when it seems that Jaikant’s political ambitions have escalated beyond control—gaining a ministerial position after his party’s election victory—he issues a directive to transfer Singham again, trying to eliminate him from his path.

In a show of unwavering spirit, during a police function, Singham vocalizes the betrayal within the police force, encouraging his fellow officers to reclaim their commitment to justice. His impassioned words stir the hearts of his peers, igniting a collective movement against Jaikant. Supported by the entire Goa police force, including a reformed Patkar, Singham leads a daring raid into Jaikant’s stronghold.

In a stunning climax, Jaikant is captured after a thrilling chase but meets a violent end in a staged encounter, dramatically seated in Kadam’s chair—a symbolic act highlighting the full circle of justice. The fallout sees Jaikant’s nefarious deeds exposed, effectively clearing Kadam’s tarnished reputation and restoring Megha’s dignity.
