In a society where wealth and materialism dictate life, Mini, a spirited young woman, finds herself trapped in a stifling reality imposed by her father, Bhatti. He insists that she marry Sunny, a man eager to use her as a stepping stone to obtain a coveted Canadian Green Card. Mini’s disdain for the concept of marriage is evident, but she struggles futilely against her father’s relentless expectations.

Meanwhile, Viren, an ambitious and hardworking individual, dedicates himself to his dream of launching a travel agency with a modest fleet of cars. His dream is underpinned by his carefully saved Rs. 60,000, which he keeps stowed away beneath the seat of his rickshaw. However, everything changes when Bhatti makes the sudden decision to sell off all his rickshaws, putting Viren’s financial aspirations at risk. Overcome by despair, the rickshaw driver drunkenly confronts Bhatti, demanding the return of his lost savings. The tension escalates as Mini’s engagement to Sunny looms closer.

Seizing a moment of opportunity and desperation, Mini decides to cancel her impending marriage and coerces Viren into a plan to kidnap her, commandeering one of her father’s new taxis in the process. Together, they forge a reluctant alliance; Mini proposes that Viren follow her lead and demand a ransom of Rs. 1 million from her father. In exchange, she offers him the chance to reclaim his savings while keeping the rest for herself. As they navigate their precarious situation, they develop an unexpected bond amid the chaos.

However, the stakes dramatically rise when Sunny and Bhatti arrive, intent on paying the ransom to reclaim Mini. Their efforts backfire as violence ensues in attempts to recapture her. In a shocking turn of events, both Mini and Viren are kidnapped by an enigmatic figure and taken to Chowdhary’s lair, a notorious crime lord known for his ruthless tactics. Bound by their new reality, Mini and Viren are thrust into a thrilling adventure filled with danger, treachery, and unforeseen romance.

As Viren, also known as “Chotu,” continues to live life as a rickshaw driver in Patiala, six years have passed since he distanced himself from his father, Chowdhary, who has built a dubious empire through ransom demands. The familial connection reveals itself gradually; Viren is indeed Chowdhary’s son. Unbeknownst to him, his disdain for his father’s morally questionable career has drawn attention. Meanwhile, Bhatti arrives, eager to pay the ransom and retrieve Mini.

Torn between her affection for Viren and the pressure of marrying Sunny—an alliance her family fully supports—Mini faces a heart-wrenching dilemma. When Chowdhary proposes that Mini take over their kidnapping operations, Viren stands firm against this fate, unwilling to let the woman he loves lead a life embroiled in dishonesty.

As Mini grapples with her feelings for Viren and her impending marriage, she leaves heartbroken, unaware of the changes stirring within Chowdhary, who is moved by his son’s convictions. Determined to reclaim Mini, he decides to abandon his life of crime. The wedding unfolds as planned, yet the truth about the groom’s identity is laid bare when Viren reveals himself.

With newfound determination, Viren and Chowdhary work together to transform their seedy enterprise into a legitimate taxi service, with Mini at their side. As they drive off into a hopeful sunset, the once-infamous kidnapping operation has been redefined as a family-owned business, symbolizing the profound themes of redemption and familial loyalty.
