In the quaint Texas town where she resides with her husband Phil (Phil), Justine Last, a restless thirty-year-old, navigates the humdrum routine of small-town life. Her days are filled with the mundane tasks of working at Retail Rodeo, the local big-box store, alongside Cheryl, Gwen, and security guard Corny, while Phil indulges in his favorite pastime: smoking marijuana with his best friend Bubba.

Justine’s monotonous existence takes a turn when Holden is hired as a cashier at work.
