Who is the president of the He-Man Woman Haters Club?

Plot Summary

In the world of He-Man Woman Haters Club, Spanky McFarland reigns supreme as the president, surrounded by a loyal entourage of neighborhood boys. His trusty sidekick Alfalfa has been chosen to pilot the club’s prized go-kart, “The Blur,” in the highly anticipated annual Soap Box Derby-style race. However, when the announcement is made, Alfalfa’s whereabouts remain shrouded in mystery.

As it turns out, Alfalfa has been caught red-handed by his friends with none other than Darla, the object of his affections. The club’s members go to great lengths to pry them apart, ultimately leading to a tragic consequence: their beloved clubhouse goes up in flames. Darla mistakenly believes Alfalfa is ashamed of her and turns her attention to Waldo, the new rich kid whose father is an oil tycoon.

Meanwhile, Alfalfa is left to face the music, tasked by his friends with guarding “The Blur” day and night until the big day arrives. In a desperate bid to win back Darla’s heart, Alfalfa attempts to woo her through a series of failed romantic gestures: a visit to her ballet rehearsal, an undelivered love letter, and a heartfelt serenade.

In the midst of this chaos, the boys turn their attention to rebuilding their clubhouse. They embark on a fundraising mission to collect $450 in lumber costs, but unbeknownst to them, Porky and Buckwheat have inadvertently raised $500. Their school teacher, Miss Crabtree, discovers the scheme, but Spanky’s quick thinking convinces her to use the funds as prize money for the go-kart derby instead.

Tragedy strikes when local bullies Butch and Woim steal “The Blur.” The boys are left with a daunting task: rebuilding their clubhouse and procuring a new set of wheels. Undeterred, they band together to construct a new go-kart, dubbed “The Blur 2: The Sequel.”

As the day of reckoning approaches, Spanky and Alfalfa finally reconcile and decide to ride together in the two-seat go-kart, hoping to claim victory and the coveted prize money and trophy. The stakes are high as they prepare to face off against their competitors, including the legendary “A.J. Ferguson” who will present the winning trophy.

As the high-stakes derby reaches its thrilling conclusion, Butch and Woim resort to underhanded tactics in a desperate bid to outmaneuver Alfalfa and Spanky. Meanwhile, Waldo, the cunning and unpredictable driver, pulls off a series of daring maneuvers that keep the competition on their toes. The finish line is tantalizingly close, with “The Blur 2” edging ahead of the pack by the narrowest of margins - a hair’s breadth, courtesy of Alfalfa’s distinctive coiffure. Amidst the chaos and crashes, Butch and Woim attempt to exact revenge on Alfalfa, but their efforts are foiled when Alfalfa sends Butch tumbling into a pit of pig slop, while Woim impulsively leaps in to join him.

The outcome of the derby has far-reaching consequences, as Alfalfa’s victory is accompanied by the redemption of his romance with Darla. A surprising twist emerges, revealing that it was actually Darla who ejected Waldo from her race car, not the other way around. As for Spanky, he’s left stunned and delighted when he finally meets his hero, A.J. Ferguson - a trailblazing female driver whose presence challenges the club’s traditional boys-only ethos.

In the aftermath of the derby, the boys undergo a profound transformation, abandoning their initial reluctance to welcome Darla and her friends into their fold. The club’s sign is updated to proudly proclaim “Women Welcome,” as the group celebrates its newfound inclusivity. As the curtain closes on this rambunctious adventure, a delightful surprise awaits - Uh-Huh finally gets to show off his hidden talents, beyond simply uttering his signature phrase. The film concludes with a hilarious montage of outtakes from the kids’ time in front of the cameras.
