Check out what happened in The White Storm 2: Drug Lords!

In 2004, triad member Jizo found himself on the wrong side of his boss, Yu Nam, after being caught peddling drugs at his night club. The punishment was severe: Yu Shun-tin, a trusted compatriot, was ordered to sever Jizo's fingers and cast him out of the organization. This brutal act would have far-reaching consequences for both men.

Fast-forward to 2019, when Yu has reinvented himself as the "Finance Whiz", a billionaire philanthropist with lawyer-turned-wife Michelle by his side. Meanwhile, Jizo had transformed into one of Hong Kong's most notorious drug lords. Tragedy struck when Yu discovered he had a long-lost son with his deceased ex-girlfriend, May, who had succumbed to the devastating effects of a drug overdose in the Philippines. Consumed by grief and a burning desire for justice, Yu vowed to destroy the drug trade that had taken so much from him.

Using his vast wealth and former triad connections, Yu orchestrated a series of daring hits and dog-eat-dog events that sent shockwaves through the underworld. Police chief inspector Lam Ching-fung and his team conducted raids on Afghani gangs and Yu's own men, but were unable to pin down the mastermind behind the chaos. Yu's true motives remained shrouded in mystery, even as he publicly revealed his history with the Triad.

The stakes escalated when Yu announced a HK$100 million bounty on the head of Hong Kong's top drug dealer, setting off a frenzy in the criminal underworld and society at large. The police were powerless to stop Yu's vendetta, and Jizo, sensing danger, voluntarily turned himself in to protect his family from potential reprisal. Inspector Lam found himself torn between his duty to uphold the law and his responsibility to safeguard Jizo.

As tensions mounted, Jizo ordered a hit on Yu, but the assassin mistakenly targeted Michelle instead. Consumed by rage and grief, Yu launched an all-out attack on Jizo, eventually cornering him in a subway tunnel. Inspector Lam arrived just as the three-way shootout was reaching its climax. In the end, both Yu and Jizo fell, their bitter feud finally laid to rest. Lam honored Yu's memory by using the bounty to establish a centre for children whose parents had been ravaged by drug addiction.
