Taj Badalandabad, portrayed by Kal Penn, has just completed his studies at Coolidge College and is now headed to the prestigious Camford University in England. Inspired by his father Dilip, he aspires not only to earn his degree but also to claim a spot in the esteemed Fraternal Guild, the Fox and Hounds. Taj dreams of becoming the next “Sultan of Snatch,” following in his father’s footsteps.

Upon his arrival at Camford, however, Taj faces an unexpected setback. He learns from the arrogant leader of the Fox and Hounds, Pip Everett, that his acceptance into the guild was a mistake. Devastated, he finds himself taking the only available accommodation—a chaotic house filled with misfit students: the fiery Cockney girl Sadie, the Irishman Seamus, the nerdy Gethin, and the quiet Simon. With his loyal bulldog Ballzac by his side, Taj decides to channel his inner Van Wilder and transform this ragtag group into something special.

At the Society Inaugural Ball, Taj boldly proclaims the formation of his own exclusive society, the Cock and Bulls, and announces their intention to compete for the Hastings Cup—a series of competitive events on campus. Embracing his role, Taj discovers he will also be teaching his new friends, under the guidance of the stunning Charlotte Higginson, played by Lauren Cohan. Taj quickly develops feelings for Charlotte, while she becomes frustrated with her overly proper boyfriend, Pip.

As their relationship unfolds, the two clash over Taj’s unorthodox teaching style, which leads to playful confrontations, including an intense fencing match where Charlotte teaches him a lesson. Nevertheless, they find common ground through their adventures—inspiring the misfits to improve both their grades and their self-confidence. The Cock and Bulls begin to rise in the Hastings Cup standings, much to Pip’s displeasure.

In a series of comedic and chaotic events, Taj’s leadership abilities shine. From winning challenges like beer-drinking contests to academic quizzes, the Cock and Bulls are making their mark. However, Pip soon resorts to underhanded tactics to thwart them, including attempts to humiliate Taj during the Royal Literary Ball and sabotaging Ballzac’s chances in the dog show. Each scheme backfires, creating even more chaos and ultimately leading to Taj’s growing bond with Charlotte.

Pip’s schemes take a darker turn when he plants stolen exams in the Cock and Bulls’ residence, placing Taj in a position where he must take the blame to protect his friends. With a heavy heart, Taj prepares to leave Camford, only to face heartbreak when Charlotte tells him she never wants to see him again.

Just when it seems like all is lost for Taj and his new friends, Charlotte uncovers the truth about Pip’s deception. In a dramatic race against time, she rushes to the Hastings Cup, where Taj faces Pip in a fencing duel. What begins as a contest quickly escalates into an all-out sword fight. In a thrilling climax, Taj triumphs, leading the Cock and Bulls to victory in the Hastings Cup while Pip is expelled for his treachery.

Ultimately, Taj and Charlotte’s love story finds its footing amidst the chaos, paving the way for a new beginning filled with promise as Taj steps into a bright future alongside his beloved Charlotte.
