As the curtain rises on a weekend of excess in the Hamptons, two FBI agents, Marcus Anthony II (played by) and Kevin Copeland (), find themselves in a precarious predicament. Their careers hang in the balance after botching a drug bust, but their fortunes are salvaged when they're tasked with escorting the Wilson sisters, Brittany and Tiffany (), to a high-stakes fashion event. The daughters of cruise mogul Andrew Wilson, these socialites have unwittingly become entangled in a string of high-profile kidnappings.

As the road trip unfolds, the sisters' canine companion makes a break for freedom, sending Kevin's driving skills into chaos, and leaving Brittany and Tiffany with minor facial lacerations. In an effort to avoid further embarrassment, the siblings agree to hole up at a hotel while Kevin and Marcus assume their identities as the Wilsons.

As "Brittany" (Kevin) and "Tiffany" (Marcus), they infiltrate the world of high-end fashion, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Lisa Anderson (), Karen Googlestein (), and Tori Wilson (). However, their ruse is being meticulously monitored by colleagues Vincent Gomez () and Jake Harper (), as well as their boss, Chief Elliott Gordon (). Unbeknownst to Kevin and Marcus, they're being watched from the shadows.

Meanwhile, a chance encounter with pro basketball player Latrell Spencer () sets off a chain reaction of events. As "Tiffany", Marcus finds himself caught in Latrell's romantic gaze, while Kevin sets his sights on New York One News reporter Denise Porter (). The agent's attempts to woo Denise lead him to pretend to be Latrell, resulting in a series of misunderstandings that ultimately put their cover at risk.

As the weekend wears on, Kevin and Marcus find themselves entangled in a web of intrigue. A charity auction turns into a bidding war, with Latrell winning a dinner date with "Tiffany". Meanwhile, Kevin's attempts to woo Denise lead him to uncover a shocking truth: Warren Vandergeld (), father of rival socialites Heather () and Megan (), is behind the kidnappings.

The stage is set for chaos as the real Brittany and Tiffany arrive at the hotel, only to discover that they're being impersonated. As the facade begins to crumble, Kevin and Marcus must use all their wits to extricate themselves from this tangled web of deceit before it's too late.

As the sisters, Brittany (played by) and Tiffany (played by), arrive in the Hamptons, they're met with an uncanny resemblance - their "clones" are already there, masquerading as them. Meanwhile, Marcus' wife Gina is convinced he's cheating on her, unaware that his doppelgangers, Kevin (played by) and Marcus (played by), are trying to keep the charade going. The Wilsons' impersonators, however, are just as convincing as their real-life counterparts, leaving Gomez and Harper (played by) in a pickle. In a bizarre turn of events, they inadvertently strip down the genuine Brittany and Tiffany, causing Gordon (played by) to suspend them after they're caught up in the chaos.

The aftermath sees Kevin and Marcus fired from their jobs, with Kevin's reckless behavior landing him in hot water once again. As tensions rise, Marcus scolds his friend for always dragging him into trouble. Little do they know, their troubles are just beginning.

As Warren (played by) is revealed to have embezzled funds through his charity, Kevin and Marcus concoct a plan to redeem themselves with the help of Gomez and Harper. They pose as the Wilsons once more, this time getting selected for the final fashion show. The Vandergeld sisters are furious when they're replaced on the catwalk by their impersonators, but the real Brittany and Tiffany make an appearance, causing chaos.

The ensuing drama sees Karen rejecting Heath's advances and Marcus punching him in the face. Meanwhile, the Vandergelds try to sabotage their "rivals" but end up getting humiliated by Karen, Lisa (played by), and Tori (played by). As Warren begins kidnapping his targets, he accidentally captures Marcus/Tiffany instead of Brittany, leading to a physical altercation between Kevin and Heath.

Warren soon captures the real sisters and confesses his financial troubles to his wife and daughters, unaware that their conversation is being filmed. In the ensuing scuffle, Kevin (played by) narrowly avoids getting shot while trying to protect Denise (played by), Latrell (played by) tries to shield Marcus/Tiffany from harm, and Warren gets shot in the shoulder.

Marcus and Kevin apprehend Warren, while Gomez and Harper take down Heath and Russ (played by). After the dust settles, their true identities are revealed, and Latrell's surprise stems not from Marcus being a man but rather his non-whiteness. Warren, Heath, and Russ are arrested, Gordon reinstates the Copeland brothers, Gomez, and Harper, and Marcus clears things up with Gina.

As relationships begin to sort themselves out, Kevin starts dating Denise, and the real Brittany and Tiffany warm up to Latrell. Tori, Lisa, and Karen admit that they preferred Brittany and Tiffany when Marcus and Kevin were impersonating them. In a heartwarming conclusion, the five agree to remain friends and head out for a shopping spree together the next day.
