Plot Summary
On October 6, 1973, the conflict intensifies as Egypt and Syria continue their undeclared war against Israel, launching assaults in the Sinai Peninsula and the Golan Heights. Amidst this chaos, Weinraub and his friend Ruso are summoned as Israeli reservists in the Egoz Reconnaissance Unit, tasked with joining the fight in this unexpected conflict. Their journey to the Golan Heights in search of their unit takes a turn when they find themselves lost and forced to rest by the roadside.
As dawn breaks, they are roused by Dr. Klauzner (played by Uri Klauzner), who requests a lift to Ramat David air force base. After successfully dropping him off, Weinraub and Ruso decide to volunteer with a first-aid rescue team, dedicating themselves to a harrowing mission of evacuating both the deceased and the injured soldiers from the frontline.
By October 10, they are part of a helicopter crew dispatched to Syria for a covert mission. Unfortunately, their operation takes a dire turn when their helicopter is hit by a missile, resulting in the tragic death of one co-pilot and injuries to all onboard.
