Plot Summary
Fed up with the lack of recognition despite his success as a writer of horror-themed soft porn, Abhimanyu Roy (Ayushmann Khurrana) returns to his hometown, Kolkata. His parents, Aparajita Auddy (Aparajita Adhya) and Rajatabha Dutta, trick Abhi into believing they are getting divorced, but they are genuinely concerned about the influence of a girl named Bindu Shankarnarayanan (Parineeti Chopra), who has captivated his thoughts. Determined to create something more profound, Abhi embarks on writing a nostalgic love story that has been three years in the making—his writer’s block personified by Bindu.
How does one encapsulate the essence of such a vibrant and unpredictable person like Bindu within the confines of a book? As Abhi reflects, “You know when a song comes on and you just have to dance? Bindu was that song.
