With an unwavering resolve, he embarks on a mission to advocate for these forgotten heroes, yet struggles to substantiate his claims with undeniable proof.

Responding to a summons from the U.S. government, Braddock journeys back to Saigon, now known as Ho Chi Minh City in the communist People’s Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Here, he is slated to serve on an investigative committee that focuses on the issue of the missing soldiers, led by the seasoned Senator Maxwell Porter. Upon his arrival, Braddock’s pulse quickens as he encounters Colonel Vinh, the merciless North Vietnamese officer responsible for his torture during his captivity. At the center of this political theater, General Tran conducts the discussions on behalf of the oppressive regime, spinning a web of deceit by accusing the heroic Braddock of committing war crimes, portraying his imprisonment not as that of a POW but rather as a situation of a “common criminal.”

Determined to confront the truth, Braddock stealthily infiltrates Tran’s compound under the cover of darkness, his mind ablaze with anger and a thirst for justice. With a knife poised at Tran’s throat, he demands to know the whereabouts of missing American soldiers. In a tense exchange, Tran, sensing his impending doom, reveals the location of a camp situated eight kilometers from the coast of northern Vietnam. In a grave act of self-defense, Braddock stabs the general fatally when Tran attempts to draw a weapon. With guards searching for him, Braddock skillfully evades capture, making his way across the rooftops back to his room where Ann Fitzgerald, a compassionate member of the American investigative committee, awaits. Understanding the peril Braddock faces, Ann bravely offers her assistance, slipping into his bed to provide him an alibi against the incoming soldiers.

The following morning, Braddock expresses his gratitude to Ann for her bravery before parting ways. His journey leads him to Bangkok, Thailand, in search of a familiar face from his past, Jack Tucker, affectionately known as “Tuck.” Once a comrade, Tuck now engages in the smuggling of contraband along the coast of Southeast Asia. After much persuasion, Tuck agrees to join Braddock on his dangerous undertaking to rescue MIA soldiers from the war-torn lands. Armed with weapons, a bulletproof assault raft, and even the backing of a helicopter, Braddock prepares for the impending rescue mission. Meanwhile, the nefarious Colonel Vinh dispatches agents to eliminate Braddock in Bangkok, yet he fights back against the attackers with fierce tenacity.

As their perilous mission unfolds, Braddock and Tuck anchor off the Vietnamese coast and navigate upstream on the armored raft, with Braddock ultimately venturing into the jungle to infiltrate the clandestine POW camp. Under the veil of night, he orchestrates a one-man assault against the prison, lighting up the darkness with explosions and chaos. A local prisoner reveals the tragic news: American prisoners were moved just three hours earlier, their fates still uncertain.

The next day, with stealth and courage, Braddock and Tuck intercept a convoy filled with enemy soldiers, managing to rescue four American captives amidst relentless combat. As they commandeer a Jeep to make their escape back to the coast, a tense situation erupts when they encounter a Vietnamese armed patrol boat just as Braddock’s backup helicopter swoops in. With Tuck valiantly defending their position using a heavy machine gun, Braddock and the rescued soldiers race against time to board the hovering helicopter. Tragically, Tuck’s boat meets its demise in a blaze as they ascend to safety, leaving Braddock grappling with the loss of a dear friend.

Back in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnamese officials, desperate to maintain their façade, deliver final remarks to Senator Porter and the international press, vehemently denying the existence of any American MIAs in Vietnam. The atmosphere shifts dramatically when Braddock arrives, helicoptered in clutching the rescued soldiers, crashing the press conference and laying bare the chilling truth of the Vietnamese deception. Through sheer bravery and unwavering determination, Colonel Braddock has not only rescued his comrades but has also boldly exposed the lies surrounding their fate, proving that heroes can arise from the ashes of war.
