Plot Summary
Ree Dolly, portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence, is a resilient 17-year-old who tirelessly cares for her family, which includes her mentally ill mother, her younger brother Sonny, and her little sister Ashlee. Every day, she ensures they are nourished, dressed, and ready for school while also imparting essential survival skills like hunting and cooking.
