Aubrey Christina Plaza (born June 26, 1984) is an American actress, comedian, and producer. As a teenager, she started acting in local theater productions and later performed improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. After graduating from New York University Tisch School of the Arts, she kick-started her movie career with her role in Mystery Team (2009). However, she garnered wide acclaim for her character, April Ludgate, on Parks and Recreation (2009–2015).

Her prominent roles in films include Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Safety Not Guaranteed (2012). Between 2017 and 2019, Plaza played Shadow King and Lenny Busker in the critically acclaimed FX superhero series Legion, also producing and starring in the 2017 black comedy films The Little Hours and Ingrid Goes West. Furthermore, she played central roles in the romantic comedy Happiest Season and thriller Black Bear (both 2020) and produced and played the leading part in the crime film Emily the Criminal (2022). Plaza's work led to nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. By 2022, she had already been pegged by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. In 2024, she portrayed Rio Vidal/Death in the Marvel Cinematic Universe miniseries Agatha All Along.
