A group of Ukrainian mobsters successfully steals a highly valuable device known as “The Handle,” which is rumored to be worth billions. In response, the British government brings in Nathan Jasmine to recover the Handle before the billionaire arms dealer Greg Simmonds can sell it off to the highest bidder. To lead this essential operation, Nathan recruits the exceptional super-spy Orson Fortune, who assembles a skilled team that includes Sarah Fidel and JJ Davies, among others.

Their journey takes them to Madrid, where the primary objective is to locate the courier responsible for transporting the critical hard drive linked to the Handle. However, their quest is complicated by the unexpected appearance of Mike, a rival to Nathan, who reveals that he too has been contracted to retrieve the Handle. Amidst this chaos, Sarah, a talented American hacker, manages to copy the hard drive’s data before anyone else.

The team learns that Simmonds plans to host a lavish charity gala in Cannes, prompting them to craft a scheme to infiltrate the event. Their plan involves blackmailing Danny Francesco, a renowned movie star, into helping them create a diversion for Simmonds. As the plan unfolds, Simmonds invites Danny and Michaela—Sarah’s undercover persona—to his luxurious Turkish villa in Antalya.

In a stroke of clever subterfuge, Orson infiltrates the Ukrainian mafia’s operations, posing as a robber to assist Sarah in hacking into their systems. The stakes elevate when the British government alerts Nathan to the Handle’s true potential—it’s an advanced AI designed to surpass any known security measures. With the exchange for the Handle set to occur in Antalya, the team rapidly shifts gears to prepare for their next move.

During the crucial transfer, while Simmonds shows Danny his impressive memorabilia, Orson and JJ work to identify one of Simmonds’ moles in the Turkish government. Disguised as Simmonds’ lawyer, Orson attends the exchange to finalize the deal. However, their plans are thwarted by Mike and his men, resulting in a violent confrontation that leaves most present dead and the Handle stolen. This betrayal indicates that Mike is now rogue, operating on his own accord.

Despite their troubles, Simmonds expresses willingness to collaborate, stating that Mike’s actions have jeopardized his commission. He reveals that the potential buyers, Trent and Arnold, biotech moguls who are secretly stockpiling gold, plan to leverage the Handle to incite a global financial catastrophe. As Orson and JJ overcome stringent security measures on the ground, Simmonds and Danny ascend to the tower where Mike is set to finalize the deal with the tech moguls.

Simmonds makes it abundantly clear just how easily he could take out their families if they’re unwilling to pay for the weapon. With everything unfolding rapidly, Simmonds and Danny manage to escape just before tensions explode into chaos. When Orson arrives at the scene, he confronts Mike, ultimately taking him down and recovering the Handle.

After the dust settles in Doha, the team is presented with another lucrative job offer. However, they decide it’s time for a break. Orson reveals that he has utilized the profits from the heist at the Ukrainian villa to fund Danny’s upcoming movie about their harrowing adventure, with Danny playing Simmonds while Simmonds takes an on-set producer role. This twist marks a fitting end to their challenging yet thrilling ordeal.
