Brian Geraghty

**Brian Timothy Geraghty**, an American actor, was born on May 13, 1975. He is highly renowned for his significant performances in some of the leading films and television series over the years. Known for playing versatile roles, Geraghty catapulted to fame through his roles in the 2005 film _Jarhead_, the 2008 film _The Hurt Locker_, and the 2012 film _Flight_. He also attained astounding recognition for his recurring role in the HBO drama series _Boardwalk Empire_. From 2014 to 2016, Geraghty was a regular on NBC's _Chicago P.D_., where he demonstrated his exceptional acting ability. He remarkably portrayed the character of Theodore Roosevelt in the TV series _The Alienist_. Not only this, but he also played Ronald Pergman on the ABC thriller drama, _Big Sky_ from 2020 to 2022 and currently holds a main role as Ranch Foreman Zane Davis on the Paramount+ western series 1923. Geraghty was born in Toms River, New Jersey and is of Irish descent. He completed his high school education from Toms River High School East in 1993, followed by acting studies at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre. His acting career started in New York City before he eventually relocated to Los Angeles. Geraghty was first featured in a minor role in the crime drama _The Sopranos_, which paved the way for feature roles in films like _Jarhead_, _Bobby_, _The Guardian_, _We Are Marshall_, and _The Hurt Locker_. His compelling performance in the January 6, 2010 episode of _Law & Order: Special Victims Unit_, 'Quickie,' earned widespread appreciation. He continued to impress audiences with his portrayal of Agent Knox on the HBO crime drama series _Boardwalk Empire_. Later, in 2018, Geraghty starred in the TNT drama _The Alienist_, where he played the role of NYPD Police Commissioner Theodore Roosevelt.
