Charlize Theron, born 7 August 1975, is a critically acclaimed actress and producer hailing from South Africa. Gaining international prominence in the 1990s, Theron starred in blockbuster hits such as 'The Devil's Advocate' (1997), 'Mighty Joe Young' (1998), and 'The Cider House Rules' (1999). She received several awards for her chilling portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in 'Monster' (2003), cementing her place as one of Hollywood's formidable talents. Her roles often involved psychologically complex characters, demonstrating her depth and versatility as an actress.
