Corey Hawkins

**Corey Antonio Hawkins**, an American actor born on October 22, 1988, in Washington, D.C., stepped into the limelight with his outstanding performances in various film, television, and theatre projects. Starting his career in 2011, Hawkins made a name for himself through his role in the TV series *The Walking Dead* (2015–2016) and his disparaging portrayal of *Dr. Dre* in the 2015 film *Straight Outta Compton*, leading to a nomination for the prestigious Screen Actors Guild Award. Hawkins continued to impress on Broadway with his performances in *Six Degrees of Separation* (2017) and *Topdog/Underdog* (2022), earning Tony Award nominations for Best Actor in a Play.
