Gillian MacLaren Jacobs is an American actress known for several television roles including that of Britta Perry in the NBC sitcom Community (2009–2015), Mickey Dobbs in Love, a Netflix romantic comedy series (2016–2018). Jacobs has also worked in the Netflix series Transatlantic (2023) as Mary Jayne Gold. Other notable performances by Jacobs are seen in blockbuster TV series such as Girls (2015), Invincible (2021–present), and The Bear (2023–present). Jacobs' expansive filmography includes her appearances in films like Gardens of the Night (2008), Don't Think Twice (2016), Ibiza (2018), I Used to Go Here (2020) and The Fear Street Trilogy (2021).

As a fresh graduate from Juilliard School, Jacobs made her acting debut with the show The Book of Daniel. Right from appearing in Off-Off-Broadway productions to achieving critical acclaim with her performances in Community and Girls, Jacobs' career trajectory has been phenomenal. She has made her presence felt in the animated superhero series Invincible and fantasy series The Bear too. Jacobs also directed the documentary short The Queen of Code about computer scientist Grace Hopper in 2015, and in 2020, she directed an episode of Marvel's 616, a documentary series about the impact of Marvel Comics on culture. As of 2023, Jacobs was seen playing the character of Tiffany Jerimovich in The Bear.
