Plot Summary

As the sweltering summer of 1994 descended upon the Johnson household, Deena and her boyfriend Josh found themselves at a loss for how to cope with their possessed lover, Sam. Desperate for guidance, they decided to pay a visit to C. Berman’s residence, hoping to find some semblance of help amidst the eerie atmosphere that surrounded him. Initially reluctant, Berman eventually relented, inviting them in and launching into a tale that would transport them back to a fateful summer in 1978.

It was July 19th when Ziggy Berman, a Shadyside resident, found herself at the center of a heated dispute with Sheila, a camper from Sunnyvale. The tension escalated to the point where Sheila and her friends decided to teach Ziggy a lesson by robbing her and leaving her trussed up like a deer in the woods. But just as they were about to set their pyre ablaze, camp counselors Nick Goode and Kurt intervened, bringing the chaos to an abrupt halt.

As the dust settled, Cindy, Ziggy’s older sister, and her boyfriend Tommy Slater went about cleaning up the mess hall when Nurse Lane, Ruby Lane’s mother, suddenly appeared on the scene. Her eyes blazing with a malevolent intensity, she attacked Tommy, warning him that he would meet his maker before the night was out. The campers from Sunnyvale were convinced that Lane had been possessed by the spirit of Sarah Fier, as had her daughter before her.

Later that day, Cindy and Tommy ventured to the infirmary in a bid to uncover the truth behind Lane’s motives. It was there that they encountered counselors Alice and Arnie, along with a diary belonging to Nurse Lane. The contents of the journal revealed a dark history, one in which Fier had made a pact with the devil by cutting her hand on Satan’s stone. This unholy union had granted her eternal life, but at what terrible cost?

The map contained within the diary led the group on a quest to uncover the secrets of Fier’s domain. As they approached the witch’s house, they stumbled upon a ghastly sight: empty graves dug by Nurse Lane herself. A sense of foreboding settled over them as they discovered the witch’s mark etched into the ground below.

Alice and Cindy soon found themselves face to face with a haunting monument - a wall bearing the names of all the Shadyside killers, including Tommy’s own name. The possessed boyfriend turned his wrath on Arnie, striking him down with an axe before giving chase to the fleeing girls. They managed to escape through a hidden entrance into a nearby cave.

Meanwhile, back at camp, Nick had taken it upon himself to help Ziggy prank Sheila and lock her away in the outhouse. The two formed a bond as they shared a tender moment, their lips meeting in a kiss that was both sweet and fleeting. Tommy, however, was consumed by his dark impulses, leading him on a killing spree through the campsite. He left a trail of destruction in his wake, claiming the lives of several Shadyside campers, including counselor Joan.

As the carnage unfolded, Nick took charge, directing Kurt to gather the remaining campers at the mess hall before departing to search for the others. Ziggy, meanwhile, set out to find Sheila, unaware of the horrors that had transpired in her absence.

As Cindy and Alice navigate the treacherous landscape of the diary, they stumble upon a gruesome discovery - a pile of pulsating organs that, when touched by Alice, unleashes a torrent of flashbacks featuring the notorious serial killers and their helpless victims. The harrowing visions serve as a grim reminder of the darkness that lurks beneath the surface. Meanwhile, back at the campsite, Ziggy (character name) and counselor Gary (actor name) join forces to rescue Alice and Cindy from Sheila’s clutches. However, their heroic efforts are short-lived, as Tommy arrives on the scene, brutally dispatching Gary with a swift strike. As chaos ensues, Ziggy manages to escape and takes refuge with Nick, but their brief respite is shattered when Tommy tracks them down, leaving Nick injured and Ziggy forced to flee for his life.

As the bus departs, Alice remains behind, opting to stay and confront the evil head-on. Cindy, meanwhile, finds a route to the mess hall, where she discovers a cryptic message that sets her on a collision course with Tommy. In a desperate bid to protect her friends, Cindy intervenes, striking down Tommy with a fierce determination. Just as it seems the curse is about to be broken, Alice arrives, revealing that she’s unearthed the witch’s hand and has been drawn to its dark energy.

With Sarah’s hand now in their possession, Ziggy, Cindy, and Alice set out to reunite the severed limbs, hoping to put an end to the curse once and for all. However, their efforts are thwarted when Ziggy suddenly begins to hemorrhage, summoning a vision of Sarah Fier that inadvertently reanimates the Shadyside killers. Tommy rises from the ashes, his malevolent spirit hell-bent on destroying Alice. Cindy intervenes, beheading Tommy with a swift and deadly precision.

As the body count continues to rise, Ziggy and Cindy flee to the tree where the witch was hanged, pursued by the vengeful spirits of Shadyside’s most notorious killers. In a desperate bid to escape the curse, Cindy sacrifices herself, allowing the killers to claim her as their own. The two are left for dead, but Nick manages to stumble upon them and administer CPR, reviving Ziggy.

Meanwhile, Deena and Josh piece together the truth about Christine’s true identity - she is none other than “Ziggy” Berman (actor name). Armed with this knowledge, they journey to the site where the witch’s body lies buried, accompanied by the severed hand. As they reassemble the gruesome artifact, Deena finds herself transported back in time to 1666, where she witnesses Sarah Fier’s reign of terror firsthand.
