Goldie Hawn

Goldie Jeanne Hawn (born November 21, 1945) is an acclaimed American actress with a career spanning over five decades. Hawn rose to fame on the NBC sketch comedy program Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In (1968–1970), before earning the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Cactus Flower (1969). She further cemented her reputation with roles in There's a Girl in My Soup (1970), The Sugarland Express (1974), Private Benjamin (1980), and Overboard (1987) among others. Following a hiatus, Hawn made her return to the cinemas with roles in Snatched (2017), The Christmas Chronicles (2018), and The Christmas Chronicles 2 (2020).

Aside from acting, Hawn has established herself as an activist, dancer, singer, and comedian. Hawn is the mother of actors Oliver Hudson, Kate Hudson, and Wyatt Russell. In 2003, she founded The Hawn Foundation, aimed at educating underprivileged children. Hawn, born to a jewelry shop/dance school owner and a musician, started taking ballet and tap dance lessons at the age of three and made her stage debut in 1964. She made her professional dancing debut a year later and started her acting career as a cast member of Good Morning World during the 1967–1968 television season. Her performances often combined her comedic talent with her dancing abilities, making her a fan favorite.
