John Sparkes is a well-recognized Welsh actor and comedian, born on the 6th of January, 1954 in Swansea, Wales. Notably, he portrayed Barry Welsh, a presenter in the HTV Wales series 'Barry Welsh Is Coming.' Sparkes's acting career encompasses remarkable roles in other series and shows such as Naked Video, Absolutely, Fireman Sam, Shaun the Sheep, and Jeff Global's Global Probe. Furthermore, he is the renowned narrator of the children's television show 'Peppa Pig.' Sparkes's early life saw a transition from different jobs such as working at Lloyds Bank in Mumbles, teaching, and eventually moving to comedy in the 1980s. After this transition, he relocated to London and began performing on the alternative cabaret circuit with other accomplished comedians.
