Kathryn Newton

**Kathryn Love Newton**, born on February 8, 1997, in Orlando, Florida, is an acclaimed American actress and semi-professional golfer. She made her name playing diverse roles on television and in film. She starred as Louise Brooks in CBS's comedy series *Gary Unmarried* (2008–2010), then as Abigail Carlson in HBO's mystery drama series *Big Little Lies* (2017–2019), and later as Allie Pressman in Netflix's teen drama series *The Society* (2019). She has also made her mark with theatrical roles such as Claire Novak in *Supernatural* (2014–2018) and Joanie Clark in *Halt and Catch Fire* (2016–2017). Her filmography includes roles in *Bad Teacher* (2011), *Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri* (2017), and *Pokémon Detective Pikachu* (2019) among others. For her role in *Paranormal Activity 4* (2012), Newton snagged the Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actress in a Feature Film. Newton debuted on television at age four in *All My Children*, playing Colby Marian Chandler from 2001 to 2004. She later won two Young Artist Awards for her performance in *Gary Unmarried*. Newton's performances include lead roles in *Paranormal Activity 4* and Netflix's *The Society*. Other significant roles include Lucy in *Pokémon Detective Pikachu* and Allie in *The Society*.
