Kenan Thompson

Kenan Thompson (/kiːnən/; born May 10, 1978) is an accomplished American actor and comedian, best known for his long-term association with the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live (SNL), which he joined in 2003. This marks him as the longest-running cast member in the show's history, and distinctively the first regular cast member born after the show's inception in 1975. He initiated his acting career in the early '90s and gained popularity as a cast member of All That, a Nickelodeon sketch comedy series, where he often collaborated with co-star Kel Mitchell. Commencing from 1996, they starred in their own sitcom, Kenan & Kel.

Beyond SNL, Thompson led the NBC sitcom Kenan from 2021 to 2022, and his contributions to SNL have earned him six Primetime Emmy Award nominations, resulting in one win. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Thompson was introduced to acting at the age of five. Among his several notable roles includes his portrayal in The Mighty Ducks franchise, Good Burger, and the 2004 film Fat Albert. He voice acted in Fox's animated series Sit Down, Shut Up, and has taken supporting roles in Barbershop 2: Back in Business (2004) and Snakes on a Plane (2006).
