Kimiko Glenn

Kimiko Glenn, born on June 27, 1989, is an accomplished American actress. She began her journey in acting at the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix along with several other local theaters when she was in fifth grade. With her talent, she got accepted in the Boston Conservatory as a musical theatre major but decided to leave university when she got the chance to be part of the touring company of Spring Awakening. She first rose to fame portraying Brook Soso in the critically acclaimed Netflix series Orange is the New Black. She was part of this successful comedy-drama series from 2013 and received three ensemble Screen Actors Guild Awards. Apart from this career-defining role, she has also left a mark in the Broadway circuit where she originated the role of Dawn Pinkett in the musical Waitress.

In addition to her live-action roles, Kimiko also has a rich career in voice acting. She has lent her voice to popular animations such as Voltron: Legendary Defender (Ezor), DuckTales (Lena Sabrewing), Spider-Man: Into, Across, and Beyond the Spider-Verse (Peni Parker), BoJack Horseman (Stefani Stilton), to mention a few. In recent years, she voiced the character Izzy Moonbow in the Netflix animation My Little Pony: A New Generation and later voiced the title character in the Disney Channel animated original series Kiff. On top of her busy professional life, in 2023, Kimiko took a public stance against unfair residuals during the SAG-AFTRA strike.
