Check out what happened in Can You Keep a Secret?!

As Emma Corrigan (Alexandra Daddario) steps off the plane from a disastrous sales meeting, her New York junior marketing representative at Panda, an organic food products company, is left reeling in the wake of rejection. The once-promising pitch had gone awry, with the client flatly declining to invest in Panda's products. Desperate for a last-ditch effort, Emma finds herself on the receiving end of a dousing from an energy drink, a move that not only fails to salvage the deal but also leaves her feeling deflated and defeated.

But fate, it seems, has other plans. As Emma boards the return flight to New York, she's unexpectedly upgraded to first-class, where she indulges in complimentary champagne and finds herself seated beside a charming stranger. The two strike up an easy conversation, and before long, Emma is unloading her deepest concerns and frustrations, including her dissatisfaction with her current boyfriend Connor (David Ebert). However, as the turbulence subsides and the plane touches down safely, Emma's tipsy revelations are met with a mixture of concern and curiosity from her newfound friend.

In a haze of regret, Emma hastily departs the aircraft, only to be greeted at the airport by Connor, who proposes they take their relationship to the next level by moving in together. A drunken Emma agrees, but the morning after brings a sobering dose of reality as she comes to terms with her hasty decision.

Back at work, Emma faces the wrath of her manager Cybill (Laverne Cox) for failing to land the client before being tasked with tidying up her desk in preparation for the visit of Panda CEO Jack Harper (Tyler Hoechlin), who's returning to the office after an extended hiatus following the death of his business partner Pete Laddler. It's a tense atmosphere, but things take a turn when Emma recognizes Jack as the enigmatic stranger from her flight, and he, in turn, acknowledges her as well.

As Emma seeks out Jack to discuss the secrets she spilled on the plane, he agrees not to breathe a word about their conversation or fire her, but only if she agrees to keep his own Chicago escapades under wraps. And so, with a mix of relief and trepidation, Emma agrees to the terms, little knowing that Jack has other plans in store for her. The CEO's playful teasing of her minor secrets serves as a warning: things are about to get very interesting at Panda.

As the meeting to revitalize the struggling Panda Bites product line unfolds, Emma proposes an unconventional marketing strategy: targeting the elderly demographic, citing her grandfather's voracious appetite for the snack. Connor, the market research expert, and their colleagues counter by suggesting that if the product isn't resonating with Millennials, it should be discontinued. Undeterred, Emma later approaches Nick, the Panda Bites marketing rep, seeking a portion of the budget to test her theory in an elderly-focused publication.

Meanwhile, Emma's personal life is experiencing its own turmoil. Sensing her discontent with Connor, Jack encourages her to open up to him, leading to a spontaneous encounter in the archive room. However, when Connor refuses to rekindle their romance, Emma ends things between them. Later, Jack checks in on Emma and asks her out to dinner, which she accepts. As they begin dating, Emma becomes more vulnerable with Jack, while he remains cryptic about his own feelings. Her roommate and best friend Lissy cautions Emma that their relationship may be one-sided.

As Jack takes center stage on television, discussing rebranding strategies for Panda's new female health products, the office watches intently. When asked to elaborate on the company's target demographic, "the girl on the street," Jack unwittingly launches into a detailed description of Emma, revealing her deepest secrets to their colleagues. The room erupts in mocking laughter as Emma flees, humiliated, while Jack realizes his mistake too late. Emma refuses to take his calls, and when Jack finally tracks her down at a coffee shop, she demands to know why he's been frequenting Chicago. Jack hesitates, citing trust issues, but Emma insists that it's unfair for her to have been open with him while he remains secretive, before walking away.

Lissy and their roommate Gemma offer words of encouragement, suggesting Emma get even with Jack by revealing his secrets. When Emma shares her discovery about Chicago, Gemma proposes enlisting the help of a tabloid reporter friend, but Emma declines, choosing instead to take matters into her own hands.

As Cybill facilitated a marketing meeting, she gleefully announced that the ad in the senior magazine had yielded tangible results, boasting a substantial spike in Panda Bites sales. Nick, ever eager to bask in the glory, took credit for the success without acknowledging Emma's pivotal role in conceptualizing the campaign at their previous gathering. Cybill, however, was quick to rectify the situation, praising Emma for her contribution and subsequently offering her the promotion she had long been promised as a reward for providing opportunities for the company. Though Emma secured the position, Cybill warned her that she would need to work diligently to earn the respect of her peers now that her personal relationship with Nick was common knowledge.

Meanwhile, at Lissy's dance recital, Emma chanced upon Jack, who revealed the true purpose behind his frequent trips to Chicago. It transpired that Pete had a daughter, and Jack served as her godparent, working tirelessly to shield her from the public eye and ensure she could lead a normal life. Only a select few were privy to this information, and Emma forgave Jack for his deception. However, Gemma's arrival with tabloid reporter Mick (Judah Friedlander) put an end to the tranquility. Despite Emma's efforts to usher them out, they had already caught wind of Jack's secrets, prompting him to flee in anger. Emma pursued him to a plane departing for Chicago, where she reassured him that she had not betrayed his trust by revealing his goddaughter's existence and tearfully expressed gratitude for the love he had shown her when she was at her most authentic. When Emma was forced to return to the coach cabin, Jack followed suit, exchanging seats with their neighboring passenger. As the flight progressed, he began to unveil the secrets he had been harboring, sharing them with Emma in a candid and intimate manner.
