Stewart was brought up in Los Angeles, in a family immersed in the entertainment industry. Stewart was first noticed by the general public at age of 12 with her captivating role in David Fincher's thriller, Panic Room, in 2002. Notably, Stewart won international fame for playing Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga film series from 2008 to 2012. The film franchise holds a distinguished place among highest-grossing film franchises and garnered the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2010 for Stewart.
