Lauren Holly

Lauren Michael Holly (born October 28, 1963) is an American–Canadian actress. Lauren was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania. Her father, Grant Holly, was a screenwriter and professor of literature at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Her mother, Michael Ann Holly, is an art historian. She has an illustrious career spanning decades in both television and film. Her early acting work included appearances in the television series 'Hill Street Blues' and in *'The ABC television soap opera All My Children'.* Lauren's breakout role arrived when she was cast as Deputy Sheriff Maxine Stewart in the CBS's series **'Picket Fences',** where she held a consistent presence for four seasons. She showcased her versatile acting skills by playing the character of Linda Lee Cadwell, the wife of the famous martial artist and actor Bruce Lee, in 1993's film **'Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story'**. She is also remembered for her roles in popular movies like 'Dumb and Dumber', 'Down Periscope', and 'Any Given Sunday'. Lauren received wide recognition for her role in the series NCIS where she played the character 'Director Jenny Shepard'. In recent years, she has had a recurring role in Netflix's 'Designated Survivor'. Professionally, she has managed to create a unique space for herself in the industry and continues to be active.
