Michael Papajohn

Michael Papajohn, born on November 7, 1964, is a prominent American character actor, stuntman, and former college baseball player. Notably, he played for the LSU Tigers baseball team during his time in college, earning the nickname 'Poppy'. Papajohn made his first appearance in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy where he played the role of Dennis Carradine, a role that he was admired for. Born and raised in Vestavia Hills, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama, he comes from a Greek American family. After graduating from high school in 1983, he played for two years at Gulf Coast Community College before being drafted by the Texas Rangers in the MLB Draft of 1985. Opting for a scholarship instead of a contract, he attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

During his time at LSU, he started his acting career, initially performing stunts in the film 'Everybody's All-American' that was shot on the campus itself. From there, his acting and stunt performing career evolved, and he starred in movies like Predator 2, For Love of the Game, and Spider-Man and Spider-Man 3, among others. His roles in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Terminator Salvation cemented his position in the industry. As a remarkable actor, he has also made appearances in S.W.A.T., Land of the Lost, The Assault, and Jeepers Creepers 3.
