What's After the Movie
Rishabh "Rish" Shah, born on 17 December 1997, is a talented English actor best known for his breakout role as Kamran in the Disney+ series "Ms. Marvel" (2022). Born and raised in Enfield, North London, Rish carries multicultural roots, as his parents hail from Mumbai and Vadodara. He received his early education from Grange Park Primary School and Haberdashers' Boys' School, followed by a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Linguistics from the esteemed King's College London. His acting career began in 2017 with the Merdel Theatre Company production of "The Plains of Delight" at Clapham Fringe Festival and the Fullscreen web series "PrankMe" by Hazel Hayes. In 2019, Shah made guest appearances in Russell T Davies' "Years and Years" and the medical soap opera "Doctors", both aired on BBC One. His first exposure to stage performances came through roles in "You're Dead, Mate" at the Nutshell in Winchester and "Torch Song Trilogy" at the Turbine Theatre in London. Shah's movie roles started with the Netflix film "To All the Boys: Always and Forever" (2021) and the romantic comedy "India Sweets and Spices" opposite Sophia Ali. His acting prominence surged with his appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a superpowered teen Kamran in the Disney+ series "Ms. Marvel". He continues to entertain audiences with his roles in the Netflix comedy film "Do Revenge" and the Amazon film "Sitting in Bars with Cake".
