Rosamund Pike

**Rosamund Mary Ellen Pike** (born 1979) is an English actress and producer, known for portraying morally ambiguous characters in psychological thrillers and dramas. She studied at Wadham College, Oxford, and began her acting career with stage productions before making her film debut as a Bond girl in Die Another Day (2002). Pike has also played supporting roles in period dramas like Pride & Prejudice (2005) and An Education (2009). Primetime Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award winner, Pike has received nominations for an Academy Award and two BAFTA awards. Pike is also known for roles in mainstream films like Johnny English Reborn (2011), Wrath of the Titans (2012) and The World's End (2013). She received critical acclaim for her role as Amy Dunne in the psychological thriller Gone Girl (2014), and she has since played central roles in films like A United Kingdom (2016) and A Private War (2018). Her role in the dark comedy film I Care a Lot (2020) earned her a Golden Globe Award, and she earned additional nominations for her role in Saltburn (2023). Pike has appeared in several television series, including the comedy miniseries State of the Union (2019) and the Amazon Prime Video fantasy series The Wheel of Time.
