Vincent Cassel

Vincent Cassel, born as Vincent Crochon on 23rd November 1966, is a French actor renowned for his roles in both French and English films. He first gained recognition for his role as a troubled Jewish youth in Mathieu Kassovitz's film La Haine (Hate) in 1995, for which he earned two César Award nominations. He made significant contributions to Gaspar Noé's film Irréversible in 2002, both as an actor and co-producer. His role as the criminal Jacques Mesrine in Mesrine (2008) won him the César Award for Best Actor. Cassel's powerful performances in films like Read My Lips (2001), Mon Roi (2015), It's Only the End of the World (2016), and The Specials (2019) also earned him César-nominated roles.

Cassel captured international attention with his roles in English-speaking films such as Elizabeth (1998), Ocean's Twelve (2004), Ocean's Thirteen (2007), Eastern Promises (2007), Black Swan (2010), and Jason Bourne (2016). He also appeared in the HBO series Westworld in 2020. His most recent work includes the spy thriller series Liaison with Eva Green on Apple TV+ and his first role in a video game in the upcoming Tekken 8 as Victor Chevalier. In his personal life, he was married to Italian actress Monica Bellucci and they have two daughters. He later married French model Tina Kunakey and they have one daughter.
