40th British Academy Film Awards 1987

The 40th British Academy Film Awards, more commonly known as the BAFTAs, took place on 22 March 1987 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, honouring the best national and foreign films of 1986. The ceremony was hosted by Ronnie Corbett and Ronnie Barker of The Two Ronnies. Notable winners included A Room with a View, which won multiple awards, and Woody Allen who took home Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for Hannah and Her Sisters.
