In Bogotá, Colombia, Fabio finds himself in a precarious situation as he speaks to the menacing drug lord, Don Luis](/actor/beto-benites). Desperate to leave the dangerous world of crime, Fabio expresses his wish to quit, only to be met with the cold order from Don Luis to have him shot by Marco (Jordi Mollà). No one can simply walk away from the cartel. With plans to escape the perilous life, Fabio, along with his wife Alicia and daughter Cataleya, attempts to flee the country. He entrusts a microchip to Cataleya, instructing her to head to the U.S. embassy should anything go awry.

Tragedy strikes as Marco arrives, resulting in the brutal murders of Fabio and Alicia, leaving Cataleya alone, who, in a desperate act, swallows the microchip. Sworn to avenge her parents’ deaths, she escapes to the U.S. embassy, where she eventually expels the microchip, which contains crucial evidence against Don Luis and his empire. This information proves invaluable to U.S. authorities, and Cataleya is taken to America.

In Chicago, she reunites with her Uncle Emilio, Fabio’s brother. In a moment of vulnerability, she weeps in his embrace, revealing her grief and intent for revenge. Cataleya implores Emilio to train her in the art of assassination, insisting that she will not rest until she exacts vengeance against Don Luis. Recognizing her potential, Emilio enrolls her in a prestigious school to mold her into a smart and lethal assassin.

Now a grown woman, Cataleya (Zoe Saldana) has become a skilled killer. Demonstrating her audacity, she manages to eliminate her target—a guarded prisoner—even while under arrest and confined in a locked cell in a women’s prison. Her double life entangles her with Danny (Michael Vartan), an unsuspecting artist, with whom she shares an intimate relationship, masking her true identity as “Jennifer.”

Meanwhile, FBI Special Agent Ross uncovers a series of murders linked to a killer dubbed “The Tag Killer,” notorious for leaving a distinctive flower emblem, the Cataleya flower, on her victims. In his pursuit, CIA Agent Richard is alerted to the possibility of Cataleya’s connection to the crime spree, as Don Luis becomes increasingly paranoid of her potential as a threat.

The narrative intensifies when Cataleya sets her sights on her next target—a hedge fund manager who absconded with billions after orchestrating a Ponzi scheme. In a chilling scene, she infiltrates his mansion filled with luxury and stunning women, delivering a grim fate that sees him devoured alive by his own sharks.

As the clock ticks, Ross grapples with leads that point to Cataleya, initially skeptical that a woman could possess such ruthlessness. The stakes rise when Danny unwittingly exposes her identity, prompting her to cut ties and escape as a SWAT team encircles the area.

In a heart-wrenching twist, Cataleya discovers Emilio has been killed, prompting her to seek vengeance with newfound fervor. She confronts Ross, bargaining for access to vital information about Don Luis under the threat of violence, leading to a confrontation packed with tension between Cataleya and her hunted adversaries.

As she storms Don Luis’s stronghold, she systematically eliminates his men, culminating in a brutal showdown with Marco. The film reaches its climax with a haunting act of retribution as Cataleya releases Pepe’s trained dogs on Don Luis, ensuring that he meets his end in a gory spectacle.

In the aftermath, as Cataleya eludes capture, she finds herself speaking to Danny, now in custody. Their emotional exchange hints at a potential future, filled with uncertainty. With tears in her eyes and darkness ahead, Cataleya dons her sunglasses and boards a bus, venturing towards an unknown destination.
