In the gritty streets of Bogota, Columbia, a fateful conversation unfolds between Fabio and Don Luis (Beto Benites), a ruthless drug lord and his commanding figure. Fabio, torn by his desire to escape the cartel's deadly grip, is met with a chilling ultimatum: no one leaves the organization alive. Meanwhile, he secretly prepares to flee the country with his wife Alicia and daughter Cataleya, entrusting her with a microchip containing crucial information that would expose Don Luis' illicit operations. In a heart-wrenching twist, Marco (Jordi Mollà) arrives, brutally slaughtering Fabio and Alicia. Consumed by grief and vengeance, Cataleya, now an orphaned teenager, swallows the microchip and vows to eliminate Don Luis. With her father's last words echoing in her mind, she manages to escape and find solace at the US embassy, where she vomits up the incriminating device, securing her freedom.

The microchip, a digital treasure trove of incriminating evidence, falls into American hands, setting off a chain reaction that will lead Cataleya (Zoe Saldana) on a perilous journey. Reunited with her uncle Emilio (Cliff Curtis), Fabio's brother, in Chicago, she finally finds a sense of comfort and belonging. However, it is not long before Cataleya's innate talent for violence, honed by her uncle's tutelage, begins to surface. As she matures into a deadly assassin, she sets her sights on avenging her father's tragic demise.

In the midst of a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, Cataleya finds herself entangled in a tangled web of deceit and betrayal. Her clandestine tryst with Danny (Michael Vartan), a charming painter, serves as a fleeting respite from the chaos surrounding her. Meanwhile, FBI Special Agent Ross (Lennie James) is hot on the trail of a serial killer, dubbed "The Tag Killer" due to their signature marking – the Cataleya flower. As the body count rises, it becomes increasingly clear that Cataleya's deadly prowess has left a trail of carnage in her wake.

CIA Agent Richard (Callum Blue) travels to New Orleans to confront Don Luis, now a prisoner of the CIA, about the shocking revelations emanating from the jail cells. Though Luis denies any involvement in the gruesome murders, his instincts scream that Cataleya is the mastermind behind the carnage. Marco, ever loyal and ruthless, is tasked with eliminating this perceived threat, setting the stage for a thrilling game of cat and mouse between Cataleya and her former allies.

As the Tag Killer's body count continues to rise, Ross convenes an urgent meeting with his team to unravel the tangled threads of this gruesome case. His investigation yields a startling conclusion: one of their own, a suspect locked away behind bars, is secretly orchestrating these heinous crimes from within the confines of their prison cell. The stakes are elevated as Ross and his team scramble to identify the culprit before they strike again.

Meanwhile, Cataleya (Cataleya) pays a clandestine visit to Emilio, her presence marked by an unmistakable calling card. Her host's ire is piqued as he reveals a cryptic message scrawled on paper - a telltale sign of her notorious exploits. The plot thickens as Emilio shares the shocking news that a hedge fund manager, known for his extravagant lifestyle and dubious business practices, has fled the country with billions pilfered from unsuspecting investors. The people demand justice, and Cataleya's next target is none other than this slippery fugitive.

As Ross pores over security footage at the FBI office, his agents are convinced that the killer's identity lies in the realm of the unpredictable, but he refuses to accept that a woman could be behind such a string of brutal murders. Little does he know, Cataleya has already set her sights on her next mark, a man who lives life on opulent terms, surrounded by stunning women and an aquarium teeming with sharks.

The setting: Mexico's answer to Versailles - the hedge fund manager's mansion, where extravagance knows no bounds. Cataleya makes a daring entrance, slipping unnoticed into the opulent surroundings like a ghostly apparition. The unsuspecting mogul takes a leisurely stroll through his mansion, only to discover that every one of his guards lies lifeless on the floor. As he pleads for mercy, Cataleya delivers a ruthless verdict - a bullet to the leg, followed by another to the chest, and the poor man meets his watery grave in the pool.

Back at the FBI office, Ross is handed a vital clue: the unmistakable Cataleya flower, which blooms only in the mystical realm of Colombia. He becomes obsessed with connecting this enigmatic symbol to open cases from Columbia, but his efforts are stymied by CIA jurisdictional red tape. Frustrated and determined, Ross reaches out to Richard for clearance, but the latter dodges the issue, leaving Ross no choice but to put pressure on Luis to resolve the impasse.

Meanwhile, Marco resorts to a door-to-door search in Chicago's mean streets, driven by an unyielding determination to track down Cataleya. As he navigates this treacherous landscape, little does he know that Cataleya has already forged a bond with Danny (Danny), who unwittingly becomes entangled in her web of deceit. Their fleeting encounter is marked by a stolen moment of intimacy, captured forever on Danny's iPhone.

As the stakes escalate and the body count continues to rise, Cataleya remains undeterred, refusing to abandon her calling card and its deadly message. Emilio (Emilio) confronts her about her latest exploit - a massacre at a bar that claimed eight innocent lives, including a dear friend of his own - but she remains resolute in her pursuit of vengeance. The game is far from over; Cataleya's unyielding determination to exact justice will stop at nothing.

As Danny shares Cataleya's image with a confidant, the latter reaches out to their sister-in-law, a law enforcement official, to verify whether "Jennifer" is indeed who she claims to be. Meanwhile, Danny momentarily diverts his attention, and before he knows it, he has sent the photograph to the very same cop. Ross, engrossed in his computer, detects an unusual signal emanating from Cataleya's picture. He tracks the digital trail to another police station, where he cross-references the image with security footage from a local jail. The revelation is unmistakable: Cataleya is the elusive individual he has been searching for.

That evening, Danny carelessly mentions the photograph to Cataleya, prompting her swift departure from their shared apartment. Unbeknownst to them, a SWAT team has already taken up position outside. With precision and skill, Cataleya executes her pre-planned escape route, leaving behind any thoughts of lingering danger.

As she navigates through the darkness, Cataleya arrives at Emilio's location, only to find him brutally tortured and lifeless. The weight of this devastating discovery sends her reeling into a state of grief-stricken despair.

Seeking solace, Cataleya subsequently encounters Ross at his apartment, where she shares with him her connection to Don Luis and implores him to extract information from Richard. Under the threat of catastrophic consequences should he refuse – namely, the potential harm to his family – Ross reluctantly agrees to make the request on Cataleya's behalf. When faced with resistance from Richard, Cataleya resorts to taking drastic measures, discharging her weapon in a controlled burst while simultaneously orchestrating the exchange of information.

Following this tense encounter, Cataleya pays a visit to Pepe's garage, a trusted friend and ally who had fallen victim to Marco's merciless brutality. She seizes control of the armory, claiming the arsenal within for herself. Noticing the two loyal canine companions lingering in the shadows, she decides to claim them as her own.

As Cataleya sets her sights on Don Luis's stronghold, she unleashes a calculated assault, eliminating his entire entourage and facing off against Marco in a brutal, hand-to-hand combat showdown. The outcome is far from uncertain, with Cataleya emerging victorious and Marco meeting his untimely demise.

In the aftermath of this intense conflict, Don Luis attempts to flee the scene in a van, only to be confronted by Cataleya over the phone – courtesy of Marco's abandoned device. Seizing control of the situation, she orders Pepe's trained canines to carry out her bidding, and they proceed to devour their helpless prey.

Meanwhile, Danny finds himself taken into custody by Ross and the FBI, despite his claims of knowing little about Cataleya's true nature. As he is led away, Ross cautions him that while he may not be under arrest, he still has several unanswered questions pending. In response, Danny requests a cup of coffee, allowing Ross to step out for a moment. This brief respite proves fortuitous, as Danny receives an unexpected call from Cataleya herself.

With mere seconds remaining before the authorities trace the call, Cataleya grants Danny a rare opportunity to pose three questions. He seizes this chance, inquiring about her real name – which she reveals to be Cataleya itself – and expressing his longing for her potential return one day, referring to her as "my little bird." In response, Cataleya offers a glimmer of hope, hinting that perhaps someday she might reclaim her freedom.

As the clock ticks away, Danny's desperate plea is met with a mix of emotions by Cataleya, whose eyes well up with tears as she hears the tender words "I love you". The poignant moment is short-lived, however, as Ross intervenes, demanding that Danny hand over the phone. But Cataleya seizes the opportunity to make her escape, swiftly hanging up before Ross can extract any information from her.

As the dust settles, Ross turns to Danny with a nod of liberation, granting him his freedom. With a sense of relief washing over him, Danny is finally free to move on.

Meanwhile, Cataleya slips into anonymity, donning her signature sunglasses as she boards a bus bound for an uncertain destination. The anonymity of her departure serves only to fuel the mystery surrounding this enigmatic character, leaving the audience with more questions than answers about her next move.
