As Tess, a battle-hardened Iraq War veteran struggling to overcome her demons of addiction, returns to her home soil, her relationship with her sister Beth remains strained. Despite their temporary truce, Tess's discomfort around others is palpable, as she grudgingly tolerates the boisterous atmosphere of Rose's bachelorette party at their family farm. Opting out of the revelry, Tess instead surveys the caretakers of the property, her instincts screaming that something is amiss.

As night falls and the rest of the group indulges in a raucous male strip tease, Tess slips away to savor some much-needed solitude. Rose, sensing her sister's distress, ventures out to check on her, only to be joined by Beth, who becomes increasingly agitated at what she perceives as Tess's self-centeredness. The tension is palpable as the sisters' disagreement erupts into chaos.

Tragedy strikes when attackers, like specters in the darkness, strike without warning, claiming Rose's life with a precision-guided crossbow bolt. As Tess carries her sister's lifeless body back to the house, the partygoers are plunged into confusion and terror as arrows continue to rain down, snuffing out the male stripper's life.

As the only one equipped to handle combat, Tess takes charge, directing her terrified companions to secure the premises by plunging the house into darkness, blocking off escape routes, and finding a means to summon help. With Rose's tragic demise serving as a grim catalyst, Tess must draw upon her Iraq War experiences to safeguard the remaining partygoers from the deadly onslaught, all while confronting the dark secrets lurking within their own family's history.

As the desperate situation unfolds, Tess takes matters into her own hands by brutally dispatching one of the marauders outside. With a calculated sense of detachment, she retrieves the assailant's wallet and has her fellow survivor verify his identity, only to find that he remains an enigmatic figure without any discernible ties. Undeterred, Tess arms her companions with makeshift self-defense tools, imbuing them with a semblance of control amidst the chaos. Meanwhile, Esther, one of the partygoers, ventures upstairs in search of a cellular signal to summon help; unfortunately, her efforts are cut short when Tess discovers her lifeless body, pierced by an arrow.

Perry, a menacing figure among the attackers, reappears to claim his spoils, demanding that the women relinquish his ill-gotten gains, which lie hidden within the house. As the survivors struggle to comprehend the cryptic demands, they reach a consensus: Mia will make a daring bid for freedom, hoping to escape and procure aid. Before departing, Mia confesses her long-held crush on Tess, a revelation that hangs precariously in the balance of their survival.

Mia sets out on a perilous journey, luring one of Perry's henchmen away from the group as she makes a break for a nearby residence. However, her hopes of finding a functioning phone are dashed when she discovers that the house is devoid of any signal. As Mia's pursuer closes in, she is forced to resort to brutal violence, striking down her tormentor with unyielding determination before ultimately escaping.

The remaining women wait anxiously for Tess's return, their hopes pinned on her timely intervention. But just as they dare to hope that the worst may be behind them, a knock at the door shatters the fragile calm. Divya, another partygoer, hesitantly opens the entrance, anticipating Tess's arrival; instead, Perry and his cohorts burst into the house, their arrows flying true, and claim Divya's life with merciless precision, setting the stage for an apocalyptic reckoning.

As Tess ventures into the caretakers' domain, she uncovers a web of deceit and discovers a man who, despite initial denials, ultimately confesses to a shocking truth: the caretakers have been clandestinely dealing methamphetamine to Perry's gang, secretly stashing the profits within the family farm. Under the guise that the women are their girlfriends, Perry's men believe they're pilfering money from them and seek retribution in bloodshed. Tess resolves to apprehend the caretaker, but just as she's about to take him into custody, one of the attackers appears and brutally slays the caretaker with Tess retaliating swiftly with a pitchfork.

As the survivors regroup at their home, only Beth, Noelle, and Bridget remain alive. In a desperate attempt to reason with Perry, Bridget fails miserably, and her throat is savagely slashed. Meanwhile, Noelle attempts to negotiate her freedom by offering sexual favors to Tim, one of the captors, but just as she appears to comply, Tess returns, and the women converge to take down the remaining members of Perry's gang in a fierce and brutal battle.

In the aftermath, the sole survivors – Tess, Beth, Mia, and Noelle – emerge from the ravaged property, shaken but resolute. As they seek assistance in town, Tess delivers a manipulated account to the authorities, claiming their attackers seized them, slaughtered some of their number, and subsequently turned on each other after discovering their hidden stash. According to Tess, the women managed to defend themselves against two of their tormentors before seeking help from the authorities. The sheriff is skeptical of Tess's tale, but she's permitted to depart, with pending legal repercussions.

As the narrative concludes, Tess and Beth reconcile as sisters, while Tess sets off with Mia to a new destination. However, the fate of the methamphetamine profits, Tess's motives for fabricating her account, and the ongoing legal implications all remain unresolved, leaving a tangled web of intrigue that lingers long after the credits roll.
