As Friday dawns, Annabel Andrews finds herself in a surreal predicament: she wakes up to discover she has inexplicably swapped bodies with her mother. The feisty teenager, now inhabiting her mother’s form, is forced to navigate the complexities of adulthood as she struggles to comprehend the gravity of her situation.

With her brother Ben - affectionately dubbed “Ape Face” by Annabel - in tow, she must assume responsibility for managing the family’s affairs, a task that proves both daunting and humbling.
