Jamie Lee Curtis, born on November 22, 1958, is a multifaceted American celebrity popularly known for her involvement in horror and slasher genres. Being termed as a scream queen, she has also bagged roles in comedies, receiving accolades such as an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Golden Globe Awards. She's also been honored with two Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Grammy Award nomination.

As the youngest daughter of famous actors, Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis, her journey in the world of acting began in 1977 with her television debut in the NBC drama series, Quincy, M.E.. Her fame skyrocketed with her impressive portrayal of Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's slasher film Halloween in 1978. She reprised the role in six of the Halloween sequels, culminating with Halloween Ends in 2022.
