In this uproarious coming-of-age comedy, Dennis Cooverman (Paul Rust), a timid and brainy high-school valedictorian, takes a leap of faith during his graduation speech, boldly declaring his feelings for the stunning cheerleader, Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere). This unexpected confession transforms Dennis’s mundane life into a whirlwind of excitement. Determined to share his thoughts on his peers’ follies, he finally musters the courage to profess his love in front of his entire class.

To Dennis’s astonishment, Beth agrees to attend a party at his place later that day. However, trouble brews with the arrival of Beth’s muscular and overprotective boyfriend, Kevin (Shawn Roberts), who is infuriated by the sight of his girlfriend mingling with the biggest nerd at school. In a fit of rage, Kevin storms into Dennis’s house, wreaking havoc and creating a tense atmosphere.

As chaos ensues, Dennis, along with his loyal best friend Rich (Jack Carpenter), Beth, and her friends Cammy (Lauren London) and Treece (Lauren Storm), jump into Beth’s car, embarking on a frantic escape. For four long years, Dennis sat quietly enamored with Beth, longing for the chance to express his feelings. Now, in a single unforgettable night, he seizes the opportunity to connect with the woman of his dreams like never before.

As they navigate the ups and downs of the evening, Dennis must confront his fears and discover if he can endure until daylight. If he does, it could very well become the most remarkable story of his life.
