Parthiban “Parthi” (Joseph Vijay](/actor/joseph-vijay)) is a dedicated animal rescuer and cafe owner living a seemingly peaceful life in Theog, Himachal Pradesh, alongside his wife, Sathya, his teenage son Siddharth “Siddhu” (Mathew Thomas), and his daughter Mathi “Chintu” (Iyal). One day, Parthi receives a call from his friend, Joshy Andrews, a forest ranger, who seeks his help in taming a dangerously rabid spotted hyena that has been terrorizing the town. This hyena has already attacked several people, and the local police are reluctant to intervene, leaving the townsfolk in a state of panic.

After an intense struggle with the hyena, and with Siddhu’s assistance, Parthi successfully tranquilizes this ferocious beast, recognizing that it is a social animal that likely lost its way or has been abandoned by its pack. To avoid any public attention regarding this incident, Parthi carefully adopts the hyena, naming it Chakadbangadu, as it begins to calm down. He continues to lead a tranquil life managing his cafe called “Bold Street,” though he remains somewhat of an outsider, whispered about by the locals who suspect he hails from Chennai.

However, one fateful night, as Parthi and Chintu enjoy their time at the cafe, disaster strikes when a notorious robber, Shanmugham, along with his ruthless gang, barges in to rob them. This gang is on the run after committing a heinous crime against a district collector’s family, leaving a wave of destruction in their wake. The gang is desperate for cash, conducting minor robberies to sustain themselves, but their destructive tendencies escalate when one of Shanmugham’s men, Sandy, brutally murders a lone traveler during a robbery.

In a bid to protect his family, Parthi initially attempts to placate the robbers with money; however, when one of them makes an inappropriate advance toward his employee Shruthi (Janany Kunaseelan), Parthi’s fury unleashes. In a tense confrontation, he fights back against the gang, leading to a bloody struggle where he kills them in self-defense. Although initially arrested for these actions, Parthi is eventually released, only to find his life turned upside down when his image spreads across newspapers nationwide.

In a shocking turn of events, Harold Das, a gangster based in Telangana, recognizes Parthi as his long-lost brother, Antony Das being the elder brother fixated on reclaiming him. Antony, who harbors dark secrets from the past, perceives Parthi as his son, Leo Das, who was presumed dead years ago. Enraged and determined, Antony and his gang make their way to Theog, prompting a deadly game of cat and mouse as Parthi must protect his family from ongoing threats.

The situation escalates further when Shanmugham’s relatives launch an ambush on Parthi’s family, driving him into a corner. Parthi’s request for armed police protection is met with scorn, prompting him to take matters into his own hands. Meanwhile, turmoil continues to unfold as Sathya and Chintu find themselves caught in the crossfire, eventually leading to a confrontation with Antony himself.

As the plot thickens, Parthi’s murky past, intertwined with drug smuggling and violence led by Antony, comes to light. The shocking revelation reveals that in a desperate bid to protect his sister, Leo once ignited a catastrophic fire that resulted in multiple fatalities. As the story’s climax builds, the impending danger to Siddhu leads to intense confrontation, revealing the true nature of Parthi’s past and what it means to embrace his identity.

Through a series of harrowing encounters, Parthi ultimately confronts his fears, unlocking the suppressed identity of Leo Das while battling against the looming threat of Harold and the gang. In a gripping climax, Parthi rescues his son and confronts Harold, leading to an explosive resolution that results in significant losses but ultimately restores peace to his family.

The final moments of the tale provide a much-needed reprieve as Parthi attempts to embrace his new reality. Yet, with the lingering darkness of his past and a phone call hinting at dangers yet to come, he realizes that the fight against the pervasive influence of drugs is far from over, positioning him for a potential new chapter in his harrowing saga.
