Plot Summary

As the embers of grief still lingered from the devastating loss of his mother at birth, six-year-old Stone Alexander found himself alone with his newborn brother David at a lavish party hosted by their influential father. The tender moment was disrupted when a fiery force suddenly enveloped Stone, imbuing him with an otherworldly presence. Despite his best efforts to exact vengeance upon his innocent sibling, the timely intervention of their nanny prevented the unthinkable tragedy from unfolding. In response to this unsettling incident, Daniel (David Hedison), their father and a powerful figure in his own right, decided to send Stone away to a prestigious military academy in Italy, under the watchful eye of General Francini (Franco Nero).

As Stone navigated the foreign environment of his new school, he was drawn to a mysterious church where he encountered his demonic Guardian (Udo Kier) - an enigmatic figure who would later serve as a false prophet. The young boy’s curiosity led him down a path of darkness and experimentation, marked by his participation in a black mass ceremony. Years passed, and despite facing periodic mistreatment at the hands of his classmates, Stone’s innate intelligence and determination ultimately earned him their respect, as he rose to become the top student in his class.

Upon graduating from the academy, Stone reunited with his younger brother David (Chad Michael Murray), now a teenager. The young man soon found himself betrothed to Gabriella, the lovely daughter of General Francini, and despite initial reservations from her father, Stone employed an unconventional tactic to secure their union - summoning two eerie smoke-like demons to intimidate the General into giving his blessing.

As Stone’s star continued to rise, he eventually ascended to the pinnacle of power, becoming the President of the European Union. Seizing this opportunity, he seized upon the concept of a unified global government, dissolving the United Nations in favor of a new world order - the World Union. In a bold move designed to consolidate his newfound authority, Stone exerted pressure on Richard Benson (R. Lee Ermey), President of the United States, to join his global community. The stage was set for a dramatic showdown when Stone summoned Benson to Rome, with the U.S. Navy’s Sixth Fleet poised off the coast of Italy in anticipation of any potential crisis.

As the plane touches down in Italy, President Benson (no actor name provided) finds himself flanked by two trusted advisors: Vice President David Alexander (Michael Biehn), a man well-versed in the intricacies of power politics, and U.S. Marine Colonel Rick Howard (Gil Colon), a battle-hardened military strategist. The trio’s informal meeting on Air Force One becomes a tense warning session, as David and Colonel Howard caution the president to keep his distance from the enigmatic Stone, whose reputation for ruthless cunning precedes him. Their concerns are rooted in a chilling CIA report, which suggests that over 200 individuals who had dared oppose Stone in the past have met their untimely demise under suspicious circumstances following close proximity with the charismatic leader. Alas, President Benson fails to grasp the true extent of Stone’s malevolent nature, and it is he who ultimately falls victim to a supernaturally induced heart attack at the hands of the cunning Stone. As the president’s life slips away, David is hastily sworn in as his successor, a development that will have far-reaching consequences for the future of the United States.

Meanwhile, Stone’s plans for global domination continue to unfold, with his brother predictably refusing to join his nefarious New World Order. Secretary of State Breckenridge (Jim Metzler), however, proves more amenable to Stone’s vision, urging the United States to align itself with the would-be world leader’s sinister agenda. When David refuses to cooperate, Breckenridge resorts to underhanded tactics, releasing a doctored video purporting to show the new president committing a heinous act - a fabrication that was, in reality, orchestrated by Stone himself. The Secretary of State seizes upon this fake evidence to order the FBI’s arrest of David, sparking a chaotic confrontation between the Secret Service detail and the federal agents.

In the aftermath of this tumultuous episode, President Alexander finds himself forced to flee for his life, ultimately seeking refuge on an amphibious assault ship belonging to the U.S. Navy’s Sixth Fleet. From this new vantage point, he issues orders for a special forces raid on Stone’s heavily fortified castle headquarters in Rome - only to discover that his adversary has already absconded to Israel. There, David uncovers a sinister plot involving Gabriella (Diane Venora), who finds herself confined in the dungeon after witnessing some of Stone’s most depraved powers firsthand. As he holds her dying form in his arms, President Alexander is left to ponder the true extent of the evil that threatens to consume them all.

As events spiral out of control, Colonel Howard receives intelligence indicating that Breckenridge plans to deploy U.S. troops to Israel, where they will join forces with Stone’s military coalition - a chilling development that could have far-reaching consequences for the very survival of humanity. With the clock ticking down, President Alexander and his trusted aide must now navigate this treacherous landscape, seeking a way to vanquish their nemesis and restore peace to a world on the brink of chaos.

As the battle raged on, Chinese tanks unleashed a devastating barrage upon Stone’s European troops from one flank, while U.S. and Mexican forces simultaneously launched a brutal assault from the other. The surprise attack caught Stone completely off guard, his men quickly overwhelmed by the dual onslaught. In a desperate bid to turn the tide of war, Stone issued a grim order: fight to the very end. As his armored and artillery positions were systematically destroyed, the Mexican tanks charged forward with reckless abandon, their sights fixed on the enemy command center.

In a heart-stopping moment, Stone and his officers found themselves engulfed in a massive fireball as tank shells rained down upon them. David managed to break free just in time, leaping clear of the inferno as the headquarters erupted behind him in a blaze of destruction. As the dust settled, David stood stunned, face-to-face with an unholy horror: Stone, once his commander, had transformed into a monstrous creature, its body adorned with ram’s horns and massive leather wings. The realization hit David like a ton of bricks: he was staring at the very embodiment of evil, the devil incarnate.

The creature’s malevolent presence seemed to draw the life force out of the battlefield, as it fatally wounded David with ease. With his dying breath, Stone/Satan summoned forth an army of dark minions, reviving his fallen troops and calling upon the very fabric of darkness itself to bolster their numbers. As if to drive home his supernatural prowess, he even darkened the sun, plunging the entire battlefield into an abyss of despair and shadow.

As the tide of battle turns decisively against him, Stone/Satan (formerly known as Stone) revels in his triumph, proclaiming to the heavens that he is Lord. But his momentary glory is short-lived, as a blinding flash of divine illumination descends upon the ravaged landscape, unleashing a celestial barrage of meteoric sparks that scourge the battlefield. The soldiers under Stone/Satan’s command meet their demise, while their erstwhile enemies - the Mexican, Chinese, and American forces - are suddenly freed from their bonds and left unscathed.

Meanwhile, Stone/Satan’s former Guardian is filled with despair as he beholds his master’s defeat. Attempting to flee the carnage, he finds himself pursued by a radiant aura that swiftly impales him with shimmering swords of light, reducing him to nothing more than a faint memory. The vanquished Stone/Satan, meanwhile, is brought low and forced to acknowledge the supremacy of Jesus Christ, his knees bent in submission.

As the divine wrath subsides, the earth trembles, and the very ground beneath Stone/Satan’s feet gives way, casting him into the abyssal depths of a burning lake of fire. There, he discovers himself shackled and writhes in torment, his cries echoing through the infernal pit. Above, David (unspecified) lies serenely on the ground, his eyes lifted toward the sky as it brightens with an otherworldly radiance, gradually fading to reveal a tableau of earthly paradise. As the light dissipates, a sacred text materializes on screen, proclaiming that God has established His dwelling among humanity and shall reign eternally.
