My Hero Academia: Two Heroes 2018

In a flashback to All Might’s youthful days in California, the nascent hero finds himself entangled in a high-stakes heist as a group of nefarious characters raid a casino. Fortunately, his classmate and friend David Shield (who would later become a renowned scientist) lends a helping hand, eventually collaborating with All Might to design many of his iconic suits. Fast-forward to the present, and All Might, accompanied by Izuku Midoriya, accepts an invitation from David’s daughter Melissa to surprise her father on I-Island, a breathtaking floating metropolis.

As they reunite with David, the latter runs a series of tests on All Might, only to discover that his Quirk is perilously close to depletion. Horrified by this prospect, David fears that All Might will no longer be able to fulfill his duties as the Symbol of Peace. Meanwhile, Melissa takes Midoriya on a tour of the island, and they stumble upon an unexpected gathering of Midoriya’s classmates from Class 1-A, each with their own reasons for being present on the island. The group is treated to a series of thrilling events before Melissa invites them to a formal gala attended by all the heroes.

Before the festivities begin, Melissa confides in Midoriya that she is Quirkless, a revelation that leaves him stunned, as he himself had once been without powers. She then presents him with the “Full Gauntlet,” a revolutionary mechanical arm device capable of harnessing his Quirk’s full potential without causing harm.

As the party reaches its climax, Wolfram, a cunning terrorist villain who has secretly infiltrated the island, takes control of the security system and issues a chilling ultimatum: he will slaughter the island’s inhabitants unless his demands are met. He immobilizes all the attending heroes, including All Might, and takes David and his assistant Samuel Abraham hostage, intending to break into the island’s vault.

With the situation spiraling out of control, Midoriya, Melissa, and some members of Class 1-A manage to evade the attackers and decide to rescue the hostages by reaching the top of the building and deactivating the security system. However, upon discovering their presence, Wolfram deploys an army of enemies and security bots to stop them, forcing the group to scatter as they confront the various threats. Ultimately, Midoriya and Melissa find themselves the last ones standing, determined to reach the top and save the day.

As they reach the apex of the tower, David and Samuel’s true intentions are revealed. The masterminds had cleverly orchestrated a diversion to retrieve their most prized invention - a revolutionary headset capable of harnessing an individual’s unique abilities, or Quirks, at unparalleled levels. Confiscated by the project’s sponsors, this powerful tool was meant for All Might, allowing him to maintain his role as the embodiment of peace. However, Wolfram, a seemingly genuine adversary, appears on the scene, his true nature revealed: he is a hired gun, working under Samuel’s orders to claim the headset for himself. Wolfram seizes the device and attempts to eliminate Samuel and Melissa, but David and Midoriya intervene, foiling his plans.

Wolfram proves relentless, kidnapping David and attempting to dispatch Samuel and Melissa. David and Midoriya team up to thwart his efforts, but Wolfram holds off Midoriya while making a daring escape onto the rooftop in a helicopter. Just as all hope seems lost, Melissa takes control of the security system, freeing the heroes. All Might arrives on the scene, halting the helicopter’s departure.

Wolfram then unleashes the Quirk Amplification Device, boosting his powers to create an imposing metal form, with David trapped inside. He effortlessly outclasses All Might, revealing that he has also been gifted an additional Quirk by All For One, All Might’s arch-nemesis, seeking to demoralize the Symbol of Peace. With All Might struggling to match Wolfram’s enhanced abilities, Midoriya jumps into action, joining forces with his mentor to take down their formidable foe.

As the battle rages on, the rest of the students arrive to lend a hand, amplifying their collective strength. All Might and Midoriya combine their One For All powers, ultimately defeating Wolfram and liberating David. In the aftermath, as the students celebrate their triumph, All Might and David reflect on the next generation of heroes emerging - Melissa and Midoriya, ready to take up the mantle when All Might’s Quirk eventually wanes, ensuring a brighter, safer future for all.
