In a small Texas town, a mentally unstable individual named John Kirby (actor name) unleashes a tragic sequence of events by brutally murdering two members of the family he was staying with. The authorities, led by Sheriff Daniel “Dan” Stevens (actor name) and his deputy Charlie, are swiftly called to the scene, ultimately apprehending John and restraining him with handcuffs. However, John’s ferocity proves too great for the lawmen, as he manages to break free from his restraints, overpower the officers, and seize a shotgun, forcing the authorities to resort to shooting him.

As a result of this brutal confrontation, John is left severely injured and on the brink of death. He is subsequently transported to an institution where a team of psychiatrists, led by Dr. Thomas “Tom” Halman (actor name), work alongside geneticists Dr. Phillip Spires and Dr. Paul Vaughn to treat his condition.
