Gerda feels an urge to share her own stories, but when she inadvertently discloses her victory over the Snow Queen, Kai’s concern becomes apparent; they had pledged to remain modest about their past. Rollan, fascinated by her revelation, is caught off guard, prompting Kai to leave with Alfida, while Gerda and Rollan attempt to mend the situation.

As Rollan regains his composure, he spins a captivating narrative regarding the Wishing Stone, a legendary object believed to fulfill any desire. As the duo tries to master their newfound abilities, they quickly attract the attention of the soldiers serving the troll king, Arrog. Reuniting with Orm, Gerda uncovers the existence of a mystical library that holds ancient troll knowledge. Utilizing her ice train, she and Rollan return to the troll village, gaining entry to the library where they discover the curse that has enveloped them. They learn that if they do not break free from the spirits by sunset, they will face dire consequences. The only chance to lift the curse lies in returning to the Wishing Stone to liberate themselves from the spirits’ grasp.

However, their mission encounters a setback when a devious troll shaman tries to thwart them. Just when defeat seems imminent, Arrog intervenes, placing his trust in Gerda and granting her and Rollan access to the innermost sanctum of the Wishing Stone. With urgency propelling them, they race toward the stone, leading Gerda to renounce the Snow Queen’s spirit, only for Rollan to betray her, revealing his wicked true intentions—he orchestrated the curse to seize the Fire King’s power for himself.

Leaving Gerda in peril, Rollan returns to the troll village, where he finds himself completely consumed by the Fire King’s spirit, transforming him into an agent of destruction aimed at the unsuspecting villagers. As turmoil erupts, Kai and Alfida arrive at a pivotal moment, with Kai freeing Gerda and allowing them a chance to repair their fractured bond. But their reunion is fleeting, as Gerda quickly devises a plan to confront the havoc wreaked by the Fire King in the village.

Her approach involves using barrels of ice to entrap the Fire King and drive him into the lake, yet their resources dwindle right as victory seems within reach. With Gerda and Kai preparing to set sail alongside Alfida, they are unexpectedly guided by a tiny snow fairy, born from the Snow Queen’s magic, leading them to a frozen mountain range. Here, a stunning revelation unfolds—the long-enshrined forms of Gerda and Kai’s parents are encased in ice. With the snow fairy’s enchanting magic, they are finally thawed, allowing for a heartfelt reunion between Gerda, Kai, and their long-lost family, embodying the true essence of love and kinship.
