Tomás Tomás, a charismatic yet troubled bachelor in the advertising world, is entangled in a complicated web of relationships. His torrid affair with his boss Gloria is only the beginning, as he finds himself inexplicably drawn to the new nurse Silvia at his doctor’s office. After receiving a routine check-up from his friend and neighbor Dr. Mateo (Mateo), Tomás becomes smitten with Silvia and begins a clandestine romance with her. However, his world is turned upside down when Silvia discovers his affair with Gloria and fakes the results of his blood test, revealing to him that he has been living with AIDS.

As if this revelation wasn’t enough, Tomás’s gaze falls upon his beautiful neighbor Clarisa, a flight attendant engaged to pilot Carlos. But despite his growing feelings for her, he knows that pursuing a relationship is impossible given his diagnosis. Consumed by despair and desperation, Tomás contemplates taking his own life, but it’s Clarisa who bursts into his apartment in the midst of this crisis. She too has been driven to the brink by the discovery of Carlos’s infidelity and sees no other way out than to join Tomás at the top of the Torre Latinoamericana.

In a poignant twist, Mateo receives Tomás’s distressing voice message among friends at a party, prompting him to rush to the tower with his wife Teresa, Carlos, and Silvia in tow. When they finally arrive at the rooftop, Tomás confesses his love for Clarisa but knows he cannot pursue it due to his illness. In a moment of raw emotion, Clarisa reveals that their shared fate no longer matters, and the two share an ecstatic and poignant moment of intimacy.

As they prepare to take the final leap, Silvia’s voice rings out from below, shattering Tomás’s despair with the news that the blood test was actually negative. In this newfound hope, the lovers begin to envision a different future together, one that may not be free from challenges but is filled with promise and possibility.
