Plot Summary


The story unfolds in 1977, where we meet the renowned opera star Maria Callas, portrayed by Fanny Ardant, who finds herself in a state of near seclusion, haunted by the shadows of her illustrious past. Enter Larry Kelly, played by Jeremy Irons, a longtime confidant and music promoter, who has traveled to Paris to promote a punk rock band. As he insists on visiting her, their conversation eventually leads to the revelation of his true purpose for being there.
