Sameer Malhotra, portrayed by Abhishek Bachchan, is a dedicated nurse, while Kunal Chauhan, played by John Abraham, is a charming photographer. Both men are living the carefree bachelor life in Miami, with Sameer residing in a motel and searching for a new apartment. Kunal, on the other hand, is in a bit of a bind, as he must vacate his shared apartment with a friend within two weeks.

Their paths destinyfully converge at a friend’s party after a night filled with adventures with women. Fate takes another turn when they serendipitously bump into each other while hunting for rental properties. Ironically, they both fall for the same apartment, but the opportunity slips away as the owner, Mrs. Melwani, played by Sushmita Mukherjee, is unwilling to sublet it to them because it’s reserved for her niece, Neha Melwani, portrayed by Priyanka Chopra, who will occupy it solo.

To complicate matters, Mrs. Melwani is only interested in renting out the vacant rooms to women. Amidst this debacle, a U.S. soldier draws a humorous parallel between Sameer and Kunal’s bond and his relationship with his life partner, prompting Sameer to propose a scheme. He suggests that they pose as a couple to gain access to the apartment with Neha. Initially hesitant, Kunal eventually concedes, driven by necessity, and their ploy proves successful as Mrs. Melwani allows them to move in.
