Plot Summary
In the charming yet challenging landscape of rural Arizona, we meet Katie, a 17-year-old waitress burdened with the responsibility of caring for her mother, Tracey, who relies heavily on her to manage their bills. Despite their humble lifestyle, Katie yearns for a better future, dreaming of a fresh start in the bustling city of San Francisco.
To tackle their financial struggles, Katie engages in troublesome escapades with truckers, including a warm-hearted older man nicknamed Bear.
