Alice Braga Moraes ([aˈlisi ˈbɾaɡɐ moˈɾajs]; born 15 April 1983) is a Brazilian actress and producer. Born and raised in a Catholic family in São Paulo, she had early exposure to acting as she often accompanied her actress mother Ana Braga and aunt Sônia Braga to film sets. Braga's career initially started in school plays and commercials, with her first commercial being for yogurt when she was 8 years old. As a teenager, she began pursuing roles in television and films. Her acting debut was in the Portuguese-language short film Trampolim (1998) and her breakthrough role came when she played Angélica in the acclaimed Brazilian film City of God (2002).

Over the years, Braga has appeared in several other Brazilian and South American films such as Lower City (2005) and Only God Knows (2006). She gained international prominence after starring opposite Will Smith in I Am Legend (2007). Since then, she has become a familiar face in Hollywood, appearing in films like Predators (2010), The Rite (2011), Elysium (2013), The Shack (2017), Soul (2020), and The Suicide Squad (2021). Braga also starred in the USA Network crime drama-thriller television series Queen of the South (2016–2021) and the Apple TV+ science fiction series Dark Matter.
